Biography

"It was really important to us to grow with this record, and let our fans know that we're not taking anything for granted artistically," says Edward Kowalczyk in regards to Secret Samadhi, Live's new album on Radioactive Records. The dozen tracks in question are ample evidence of that goal, born of a newfound self-awareness and confidence on the part of this decade old band whose members are still in their mid-twenties. To Chad Taylor, Live have crafted "a record that really captures the power we have when we're on stage." For Kowalczyk, "Making a record is a living process. It's all about being in the moment with it, so it always ends up a surprise. This one is a good surprise."
