well first things first. I really like beck alot he is one of the only not hip hoppers that a like. and that's really says something. the only other not hip hoppers I like are either a) dead (jimi hendrix) b) no longer a group (pink floyd) c) not big stars (Roger Waters{of pink floyd; he's solo now I think he's solo stuff is off the hook}, Portishead {I miss them with a PASSION}. anyway beck is a superman in my book.

I am very disappointed in MR. Beck. "One Foot in the Grave" and "Stereopathitc Soul Manure" were great albums. But then he released Mellow Gold which had its high lights but started taking him in a different direction. Then it all wentt to poop. I'm not going to alledge that Beck sold out but I will say he transformed into a silly pop act with two broken turntables and Tom Waits' stolen microphone. Beck should hold up several months on a small boat, drifting aimlessly in the Atlanic, with just a guitar and tons of whiskey and write a new album. As a matter of fact, everybody who considers themself a songwriter should do the same. Then maybe they'll figure out there is no logic to our sexx laws because there are none.
But that maybe they should try to define the logic in our heartless musicc laws. That would be interesting, don't you think?

I love Beck, and this album. He's so orginal, and unique. Sexx Laws kicks, it's one of my new favourite songs. Beck rules.
