Great album. Play it from start to end. AC DC is the greatest band ever and they will always be. They put on a hell of a live show and their songs never get old. As for SNUFF, O Fodedor, and Greener, you're probably just a bunch of little 12 year olds that like those pu$$y bands that whine and cry about their girlfriends dumping them. You obviously don't know sh|t about music.

AC/DC should've retired after Thunderstruck! The drumbeat is the same in every song! How does a band that sucks this bad for so many years still be around? Because of morons like you who keep buying their horrible albums.
the rocker i keep rockin on.
every day i listen to acdc when i here a boy group band i wanna barf ac/dc keeps rockin in my room keep it going in yours.
zach the first one i put was a mess up.
The album is as good as aney other ac/dc album ever it rocks.
a dead band well keep rockin the world and make it a better world.
THe album is as good as eney other ac/dc album ever it rocks.
MerrDawg

tim

RidahNY
We desperately need bands like AC/DC to continue rocking out and kicking βss! We need this great band to show most of the newer bands that they truly sϊck!This is REAL rock music and it will never die!

Metal Wolf, Well said man. AC/DC is the greatest band ever. The live show kicks I recommend everybody to see it atleast once. STIFF UPPER LIP is a GREAT CD. SOME GREAT TUNES. Title track, Meltdown, Hold me Back, Safe in New York City, Satellite Blues, All Screwed Up and Give it up all those are some of the best songs they ever did! GIVE IT UP is my FAVORITE AC/DC SONG OF ALL-TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET THIS CD TODAY EVERYBODY AND SUPPORT THEM. GO TO THEIR SHOWS YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME !!!!!!!!!!!!
name withheld
Stiff Upper Lip sounds more relaxed than the old stuff and the boyz are on auto pilot (they can play rock like this in their sleep) but it's still ten times better than most alternative today.
Metal Wolf
For one thing it seems many people are insulting AC/DC because they are old, in my view they are morons who are teeny bopers liking what ever trend comes there way.I garuntee if everyone liked AC/DC people like Greener and O foderator would like them.See AC/DC said it themselves, trend come and go and AC/DC will still be rocking. See the Rolling Stones are older than AC/DC but it seems no one cares because Rolling Stones cans till give a pretty good album at their age.Of course this AC/DC is not as heavy and loud as their other ones but what would youe xpect, they are old but at least they give their soul too their music.I should be respected because they have been around for a very long time. And they are a band you know very well is never going to sell out, why because of what many people say, they never change.See people whine because they stay the same but Metallica changed and everyone is whining because of that. In my view AC/DC is one of the greatest bands ever. When you buy and AC/DC album you know very well what you are going to get, a good rock album. Same as when you go too their shows, you know what you are going to get. And as Greener saying Ballbreaker is their worst album, I guess he is as musicially blind as he is a idiot. For one thing I have all of AC/DC Canadian albums. And I like them all, every song is a great song, every album I knew I was going to get. That is why in August I am going to the Corel Centre to see AC/DC, why because I know I will get a great show.AC/DC maybe old but I would like to see Metallica play as good as AC/DC.At least AC/DC is true too their sound.Either with Bon Scott or Brian Johnson AC/DC is still one of the greatest bands ever. The thunder from down under.
JIMEE
AC/DC rules. What the hell kind of music does Greener listen too?
Metal Wolf
Great album, probably the first true rock album of the year 2000.Foderator you are a moron. So what if they play the same as 20 years ago, that proves that they do not sell out.
firewoman
I think it is great as acdc always are!!!
O Fodedor
It SUX hard!!!! Brian Johnson yells lika little B..tch!!! And they sound old!! The same sh.t they used to do 20 years ago!!!!!
Chris
Rubberneck - "like a sampled sound?" Personally I think the drums on the razors edge sound sampled They sound realistic to me on Ballbreaker and Stiff Upper Lip It really sounds like a real bass drum kick and snare hit to me on Stiff Upper Lip. Even Back in Black and For Those about to rock might not be as realistic sounding as the last two albums for drums only.
Rubberneck
Stiff is a fine album. Everyone here has hit on the songs, so i'll throw my two cents in on the production. I feel the production is lacking. the snar drum sounds dead ( like a sampled sound) the vocials are mixed down really low ( for some that may be a good thing) I prefered the sound of albums like powerage and let their be rock. I have been lucky enough to meet the band twice, once in 91 and then again in 95. they are very nice guys, i drank with brian. It warms my heart to know that these guys will be around for a long time. there are not too many sure things in life, but you can almost always count on AC/DC to deliver the goods! I could write a book on them, but i have a feeling most people are done reading this by now. Viva La AC/DC

4 out of 5 stars...AC/DC can still kick some serious a$$. This is a very bluesy album, but it hits hard as "Back in Black", and is without a doubt their best effort since the aforementioned classic. Pluses: the title track, "Cant Stop Rock n Roll", and "Satellite Blues" are all great tracks, and fit perfectly into any AC/DC collection. Angus Young's guitarwork hasnt lost an ounce of soul or power, and Brian Johnson's voice is as horrible (in a great rock n roll way) as ever, sounding like a mix between a drunken Elmo and Shawn Michaels. Hardly any filler, you can pretty much put this CD in and let it roll all the way through. All of the songs are pretty much about a) being a hard-a$$, b) having sex, or c) drinking and partying...now all of us AC/DC fans know that the boys' best songs fall into these categories, so expect more of the same here. Minuses- a couple of the tracks sound repetitive and are almost rip-offs of each other. That's about it. All in all, this is a killer album, and AC/DC fans, or just fans of hard rock in general, will eat it up. All you Korn and Limp Bizkit fans, you should have a listen to this and get a lesson in what REAL rock n roll is.
delino b.
these guys are right i have to agree this is a fine record that just rocks
CHris

Michael
Its alright just dont compare to the older stuff, and ove rthe years Johnsons voice has gotten worse
Billy
This album is really really good, I feel it is the best since Back in Black. There isn't much filler on here and a little variation of songs. Some excellent riffs I recommend this one to anybody who likes good ole rock n roll.
frogger
greener you are an *sshole. Not many bands can even come close to what these guys have accomplished.
Magnus
They RULEZ FOREVER, no other comments. Except They CAN΄T STOP ROCK N΄ROLL
Eagles
I just want to say upon further listening the Cd's not as bad as I thought when I first got it. Its actually pretty good Hold Me Back is my favorite song from it and most of its at least decent. Except Meltdown, that song sucks.
Eagles
I finally got the money for this cd. Dissapointment somewhat. THe best songs are the title track and Can't Stop Rock and Roll. House of Jazz and Safe in New York are decent. Safe in New York opens up with a complete rip off of the base/drum combo used in "Runnin Down a Dream" by Tom Petty. Also Hold me Back and Can't Stand Still have the same feeling intro as Thunderstruck because they are practically the same song just a little modified. Overall I'd give the CD a 5 out of 10, I expected alot better but its still better then most cd's coming out nowadays. Also why does AC/DC keep using the method on this CD where they stop the guitar riff for Johnson to sing. Continous guitar riffs without those annoying long pauses are worlds better.
MRG.
WELL I THINK STIFF UPPER LIP IS ONE OF THER MORE BLUESY CD'S THEY HAVE DONE . I THINK ITS A GOOD CD. BUT PEOPLE HAVE TO STOP COMPARING ALL OF AC/DC CD'S SHOULD SOUND LIKE BACK IN BLACK.AC/DC MIGHT BE OLD AS DIRT BUT THEY CAN STILL PUT ON A KICK ASS SHOW. AND TO ALL YOU ANTI AC/DC PEOPLE. WHAT YOU THINK THE BANDS TODAY ARE BETTER. ALL THE BOYS BANDS YOU LISTEN TODAY WHERE MADE UP BY SOME BIG FAT MGR. IN A TRY OUT STUDIO. AND WHERE ARE THESE LITTLE GIRL AND BOY BANDS GOING TO BE IN 10 YR.'S? BROKE UP OR OUT OF TALENT AND MONEY. WAKE PEOPLE STOP LISTENING TO THESE MADE UP BANDS AND LISTEN BANDS TO BANDS THAT CAN THERE OWN INSTURMENTS. AND NOT RELIE ON A BACK UP BAND OF STUDIO PEOPLE. AC/DC IS A BLUE COLLAR BAD WITH OUT ALL THE FLASH. AND GETS RIGHT DOWN TO ITS ROCK N' ROLL ROOTS.

Greener
What can be said about AC/DC? Well, for one thing, they are old as dirt. Ballbreaker was perhaps the worst album of all time, right down at the bottom of the list with Culture Club and Ricky Martin.Another thing that can besaid about AC/DC is that every one of their songs sound the same. Its crappy guitar riffs with Brian Johnson singing about his genitals. All of AC/DC's fans are simple minded, not evolved enough to listen to music that is, well, good. AC/DC fans, please remove your heads from your a$$es. Thank You.
angus
we are da bomb
Da
ACDC are old get them off the stage. bring back brad.
The Mighty El Stupidor
Very cool. Definitely a classic-to-be AC/DC album. The sound can not be compared to anything they've done in the past, yet it is UNMISTAKABLY AC/DC. "Damned" - the name of the song alone should tell you it's AC/DC. This is a killer album. "Hold Me Back" and "Can't Stand Still" have that same feeling of guitar intro as "Thunderstruck" and "Hard as a Rock". "Stiff Upper Lip" will no doubt be an anthem for the band in days to come. The great one himself, Bon Scott, would be pleased with Brian's performance on the title track, as well as the rest, especially "Come and Get It". This album is excellent the first time you hear it, and then, as you listen more and more, it grows on you. The sound, the feel, the whole album, is 110% AC/DC brand pure rock and roll.

Fine piece of rock n roll
on the edge
A fine, fine piece of rock and roll mastery. While the may take some by surprise because of its simple bluesy sound, it is truly the essence of AC/DC and rock and roll. AC/DC is probably the best rock band to ever grace the planet and the total worldwide album sales prove it. WE SALUTE YOU.
boohead

This CD kicks ASS!! It goes back to a bluesy, kind of Back in Black sound. 10 stars out of 5..
