I find Issues to be a mixed bag, at first when I heard it I thought "OMG, where is the sound that made me listen to them before?" I was happy that he was NOT speaking so much jibberish filler crap that he did before, but something was missing. The whole album seemed very unimaginative. The few heavy tracks on the album were great, but past that I couldn't find much else to like. After hearing the album a few more times I started to like it more but I felt it was because I like Korn and not because it was a good album. Sorry, guys but I am going to have to stop being deluded and just admit that except for a few tracks this album was kind of lame. Try Linkin Park or something. There album lacks the same hardness that Korn's last album does, but they had imagination. I think Korn got so popular that they forgot what made them popular. Good music. How sad.

I love Korn, they are so funny. Every time I listen to their music it's like I'm finally getting all of my frustrations out. Korn doesn't care what anyone thinks, I don't think they care what their fans think either, but I could be wrong. If I'm not, that takes a lot of guts. That's what makes Korn, guts. I think that if you're going to diss on a band, you could at least do a little bit of research on it. take for instance that idiot "BUTCH" or whoever. koRn is not spelled 'CORN', and anyone who has even heard of koRn knows that. besides, if you've listened to the song ADIDAS, it has nothing to do with the brand at all. the entire song is about sex. I heard both these albums at the HMV. They suck and blow simultaneously (try it sometime, it's not an easy thing to do). I will admit, Head and Munky's 7 string guitars look amazing. But the band remind me of the Little Rascals (Bakersfield's hillbilly version of Homeys).

I was glad that Korn went back to it's roots. Putting out an album whose darkness can only be equaled by their debut album. The humor experimented with in Follow the Leader was great for a one time thing, but I was glad to see this was not their new style. we must not forget wht korn is and korn must not forget who korn is.With issues i felt that Korn is letting us know that they haven't forgotten.

I didn't really realize how many fans KoRn acquired after Follow the Leader. I remember seeing Clown video the first time and I was pretty much hooked. Maybe compared to their other albums Issues doesn't stack up. But they are still KoRn, they still kick @$$ and I'd rather listen to Issues than all of Godsmack, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Creed, Metallica, Staind and Kid Rock's albums put together. I think "Issues" is a great album. I don't get it when people say "A true Korn fan." I started listening to Korn when I heard "Got the Life." on MTV. I thought "Follow the Leader" was a great album also. I liked every song. Then I wanted to see how Korn sounded before "Follow the Leader" so I bought the first two albums. The first one was great too. I really liked the second one, even though they said themselves that "it sucked." I did'nt think so. I also think that the people who call Korn sellouts are right. They sellout..........all the shows they play. I think the people that said Korn went downhill with "Follow the Leader" because they had some rap tracks on the album are stupid. First of all Fieldy is a major hip-hop fan and I thought it was great the way they blended rock and rap, So to all the people who said that "Issues" sucked can go to hell. Because it still debuted on the charts at number one. Korn rocks. So does Limp.

This incredible band is continued to be brought down by their lead singer John Davis. What happened to him in his childhood? Anyway, even with Davis this album is in Mike Myer's words, like butter. Intro is cool with the bagpipes. Falling Away from me is basically the hit, Dead is awesome, Make me Bad is cool and Somebody Someone is awesome with the Egyptian stuff at the front. I love how Korn does that with the pipes and the drums.

Their best albums have been their debut "KoRn" (a definite cast-iron classic) and "Follow the leader" both "life is peachy" and "Issues" seem to fall between stools (although i admit i did love issues at first, and still like it) its not as re-listenable as "KoRn", which took a while to get into, but wow wasnt it worth it? And its not as instantly mind blowing as "Follow.."

Ugh... I'm sick of all the two-word reviews. Well, first of all, I like KoRn... and I admit that the radio and MTV brought them to me during the Follow the Leader days. I'm not going to lie and brag that I was there when they were a garage band, or handed out demos or whatever. But after listening to Follow the Leader (on which a few tracks are too rappy) and Life is Peachy (on which a few tracks are immeasurably hard to figure out, a good thiong to me), I have a love-hate relationship with Issues. I'm a lyric guy... I love to pick apart and sing along with the song. It was almost painful to sing along with some of the tracks on here... the lyrics were that bad. (Hey, at least on the other two previously mentioned (and maybe on the self-titled, which I have on back order... d@mn mail-in CD ordering companies) the words were thoughtful AND thought-provoking. Of course, KoRn still has the same muted guitar riffs... can anyone tell me why they do this? I hear all these bands (take Kittie, i.e.) with huge, pulse-pounding guitars, and then there's KoRn with its static-y sounding riffs. *shrug* At least the bass lines are good. And, as always, David's drumming is amazing. The tracks on the album may not sound great apart, but when put together in a particular order (which os on the back of your CD/cassette/whatever cover), the continuity of this album flows perfectly... it's one of those albums you play for the whole thing, just to listen to, not to play a few songs for a friend then put away. If you didn't like it at all the first time, listen to it again, all the way through... you might be surprised. My final ruling: 3.5 out of 5

well....listening to mostly only underground hardcore... I had no choice one day, being stuck in a car, but to be subjeced to my least favorite major label "metal" KORN and laughed out loud at the band's opening song (and laughed at my friend for spending money on what sounded exactly like the last KORN album). But to my surprise...the following songs actually had a bit of depth...the song structure maintains a steady flow of eerieness and although sounding like a mix of Layne Stanley and every other MTV spotlight metal band combined John Davis seems to be taking the time to learn how to use his voice...dropping that Sepultura "Roots" jibberjabbering he does as a filler so often was a plus as well. All in all, it's probably their most clever release to date, but I much rather hear NEUROSIS "Enemy Of The Sun" for a truly apathetically errie gaze into the damnation of mankind. Oh yeah...and Korns lyrics and "issues" SUCK...maybe John Davis shouldn't have let his mom spank him with a wooden spoon so often!

People give Korn's new CD a lot of $hit. It does deserve some of it, but not all of it. I think it is a 50/50 album. Half the songs are pretty good and half the songs are pretty bad (or terrible). I burned the CD on to an MD, so I'll listen to it for free. They have changed overtime.

I feel guilty and embarassed. I actually like the new third eye blind album better than Issues. I'm sorry, but "Blind" and "Twist" were just classics of Korn-dom. Davis doesn't make those little noises anymore that sound all animal-like. They sound like they lost that drive, but oh well. I'll just listen to Falling Away From Me.

Another change of face to add to the Korn line-up. This album sees a move from the heavy to the melodic but this only makes it better. My only complaint is that the amazing skills of Munky, Head, Fieldy and David seem to drift into a void where they are barely noticeable. Davis manages to take his vocals to new heights, the song Dirty is one of note. If you are a true Korn fan, then this album will be enjoyed.

I know that you are all thinking "WE WANT SOMETHING HARD like SlipKnot (WHICH I LOVE), but Korn has already done that before, and they are expanding to make different sounds. You can't forget that they are still the same band who made the first album. Why would they want to do the first album all over again? The only advice I can give, is that if you don't like this cd, then wait until the next one because they will change again just like they do after every cd. I think it's a good one to add to the rest of the Korn collection though. Oh yeah, and don't say that real Korn fans know that this cd isn't good compared to the other ones.... real Korn fans will accept this cd and know that it's just something different to go with their other cd's. If you notice, SlipKnot kinda got some sounds of Korn's first cd (but I guess that's because of Ross Robinson). Korn's new album KICKS live though! It's just Brendon 'O Brian's fault... the way he produced it kinda made the cd not as hard as it is live. He wanted less blatant guitar riffs, and that diluted it. THEY STILL RULE LIVE!!!!!

i admit the first time i heard it the only song that really struck me was "falling away from me", i thought the rest were pretty sh1t. However after listening to it a couple of times it just blew me away, i did a complete 180*. i agree, w/ they did do too many interludes though. Beg 4 me is incredible!!

For the ones who have never heard Issues, I can tell you, it's way different from all of the others. It's Rocks!! It's so emotionally packed, you'll feel every single word spoken by Jon. It puts you in touch with yourself, you'll know what I mean after you hear it. At first, I thought it wasn't all that great. BUT!! *I stress that!!* After a while, you'll be listening to it everywhere you go. I Love it, and all "TRUE" Korn fans do!

This is Korns most versatile and creative album yet. Although some of the songs might not hit as hard as previous efforts, I love to see bands as talented as Korn evolve into something more than just an angry metal band. The drum beats are tighter, the guitar lines are eerier, the bass is thicker and Jon's vocals are more haunting than ever. This is their best album so far, and I can't wait for the tour that follows. In a time when any one album wonder band can make it big (Matchbox20, Godsmack, Goo Goo Dolls), it is good to see music with balls enough to go beyond the boundaries of acceptance, and still do well. To all the Tools, Korns and Rages out there, thank you. Keep the musical revolution going!

While I love the old school style of the Self-Titled and Life Is Peachy Album, I like what Korn did with this. I don't like the fact that it's all getting so much lighter, but at least they can pull it off. I like the feature with the four different CD covers. ALTHOUGH THE ONE THAT WON BLOWS. The best cover is the one with them all in straight-jackets. Whoever drew that is one of the best artists in the world, at least in my opinion. Korn is awesome, and I'll always like them. I give this album 4 out of 5. Wake Up kicks!

i was thinking when i bought this album that i would get the same old screaming therapy that jonathan davis gives his fans. well i was pleasantly surprised that this time around korn sidesteps the usual rapcore sound that strangely sounds dated now although they were the pioneers of this beast. issues totally rocks because they focus on ,get this, songs! gone are the guest appearances by rap artists. in fact rap is tossed out in this outing. gone also are the screaming. by the end of the record i was expecting the usual rant by davis,instead the end gives us a fitting conclusion; -after having blurted out his issues, davis went off on pure white noise. excellent!

All I can say is that The Camel Song will be the last good Korn song for a while. Issues is a complete disgrace to metal. I compare this album to Significant Other in it's rushed ugly content. If Korn would have waited just one more year to complete the album, it would be that much better.

KoRn used to be a band with talent. Sure they weren't my favorite band but their music was okay. The S/T album was great and Life Is Peachy was okay too. But when Follow The Leader came out they lost alot of thier true fans because they sold out. I personally thank them for selling out because I found a new type of music that hasn't been ruined by the mainstream yet called Hardcore and sXe......KoRn...u and Limp Bizkit should stop phucking up a once cool music scene!!
