53 Year Old Man Charged With Stalking Miley Cyrus
AP reports: A 53-year-old man who told police he is secretly engaged to marry Miley Cyrus has been charged with attempting to stalk the teenage "Hannah Montana" star, who is filming a movie in the Savannah area.

Tybee Island Police Chief Jim Price said Wednesday that Mark McLeod, 53, of Appling was arrested after Walt Disney Pictures security officers reported he had returned to the beachside movie set Sunday after police warned him to stay away in June.

"He was asking for Miley and going up and knocking on some doors" of beach homes near the set, Price said. "The security guards recognized him. In fact, he went up to the security guards and asked them, 'Is Miley around?'" - more on this story

Fabolous Tops Charts But Wasn't The Week's Biggest Selling CD
Billboard reports: Rapper Fabolous ruled the Billboard 200 album chart for the first time in his career on Wednesday, but a Michael Jackson's hits collection sold more copies and becomes the year's second-best selling album.

Since Jackson's "Number Ones" came out more than 18 months ago -- in 2003, to be exact -- it is ineligible for the Billboard 200, and instead leads the Comprehensive Albums chart, which combines catalog and current releases.

It sold 114,000 copies during the week ended August 2, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Its total for the year now adds up to 1,370,000 copies, moving it past the "Hannah Montana" movie soundtrack (1,338,000) and Eminem's "Relapse" (1,319,000). Only Taylor Swift's "Fearless" (with 1,499,000) stands in Jackson's way as 2009's top seller. - more on this story

Jern Eye Sets New Album Release
Audible Treats reports: West coast emcee Jern Eye is proud to announce the release of his sophomore solo LP, Vision. The album, which features production from Jake One, !llmind, and Keelay & Zaire, and collaborations with Guilty Simpson, Mistah F.A.B., Zion I, Cali Agents, and NightClubber Lang, will be available October 13th via MYX Music Label.

At a time when many albums are little more than a collection of randomly pieced together, unrelated songs, the art of crafting an album is often overlooked. For Vision, a title referencing the concept of stripping down illusions in order to share artistic expression and feeling, creating a cohesive album was the main focus for Jern Eye, and one of the biggest progressions for Jern as an artist since his debut album.

Jern says, "In comparison to my previous release Authentic Vintage, I think Vision is more self aware. I just appreciate being a little older, and seeing my music in perspective. I think refusing to compromise what I really love about hip-hop reflects on how I made this album." With three years between albums, that artistic maturity will finally be on display as Vision is prepared for release October 13th. - Check out the first track from the album, "So And So" featuring Guilty Simpson
