Oops: Miley Cyrus Urged To Make Sex Tape
(AP) Jamie Foxx has apologized to teen star Miley Cyrus for a radio routine in which he urged the 16-year-old to "make a sex tape and grow up."

When the incident was brought up on the "Tonight" show Tuesday, Foxx apologized and said: "I didn't mean it maliciously."

Foxx had started talking about Cyrus on his Sirius satellite radio show after someone brought up the singer's recent feud with Radiohead. Foxx said: "Who is Miley Cyrus? The one with all the gums? She needs to get a gum transplant!" -

Simon Leaving American Idol?
(MSNBC) Every week, millions of viewers tune in to "American Idol" to hear what Simon Cowell has to say but according to the Mirror, the no-nonsense judge may be planning on leaving the show.

"Most people do one show a year and I do three and they involve a lot of traveling. One may have to go," Cowell, 49, told the paper on Saturday. "I don't know which one. That is the problem, I like all of them. I can't imagine not doing 'Britain's Got Talent' and I can't imagine not doing 'X Factor.'

"But I guess America is more likely to go because I have got one year under contract. Maybe that will be the end." - more on this story

Beyonce's Vocal Talent Called Into Question
(Jam!) Beyonce's father/manager has lashed out at critics doubting the singer's vocal ability after an "altered" recording of the star screeching along to one of her hits was aired on radio.

The singer's "board mix" from a November performance on America's The Today Show was played by shock jock Howard Stern on Wednesday, and the audio quickly circulated the internet.

Fans were shocked to hear a voice purported to be Beyonce's screeching a rendition of her hit tune If I Were a Boy into the mic. But Mathew Knowles has slammed the singer's critics and insists the recording has been tampered with. - more on this story

Fall Out Boy Banned
(Band Statement) The April 21st Fall Out Boy concert at Mizner Amphitheater has been relocated due to the City of Boca Raton citing security issues.

A statement from the city reads "There have been known disturbances associated with one of the bands, 'Fall Out Boy'. We anticipate that the concert will generate security challenges".

"I'm not sure what these 'challenges' are that they are speaking of" says Fall Out Boy manager Bob McLynn. "The town said that if we tried to keep the show on we would have to pay an extraordinary amount of money in extra costs". -

Chris Brown Pleads Not Guilty To Rihanna Assault
(AP) Chris Brown pleaded not guilty Monday to threatening and assaulting his girlfriend, fellow music star Rihanna.

The 19-year-old R&B singer entered his plea, speaking in a soft voice, while standing alongside his lawyer, Mark Geragos. His mother sat in the first row, red-eyed.

Within moments of the hearing, a lawyer for Rihanna said the singer was hoping a plea deal could be reached before the case goes to trial. "She would be pleased if this was over quickly," attorney Donald Etra said. He reiterated that Rihanna would testify if required. -

Woman In Camouflage Arrested For Stalking Britney Spears Home
(AP) Authorities have arrested a camouflage-wearing, camera-toting woman they say was caught peeking into Britney Spears' windows.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department arrested Miranda Tozier-Robbins on Thursday morning after security guards stopped her at Spears' suburban Calabasas home.

Deputies say the 26-year-old was issued a citation for trespassing and disorderly conduct and released. -

Madonna Injured In Fall From Horse
(AP) Madonna is under the care of doctors after falling off a horse over the weekend � an accident she is blaming on the paparazzi.

A representative for the superstar said Madonna suffered "minor injuries" after she fell while horseback riding in the Hamptons, a playground for the rich and famous on the eastern end of Long Island, N.Y.

"The accident occurred when the horse Madonna was riding was startled by paparazzi who jumped out of the bushes to photograph the singer, who was visiting friends," Liz Rosenberg said in a statement Saturday evening. -

Idol Stalker Denied Bail
(AP) An Australian woman charged with stalking "American Idol" contestant Diana DeGarmo over the Internet was refused bail Thursday by a judge who said she was likely to re-offend.

Tanya Maree Quattrocchi, 23, was convicted in 2007 of cyber-stalking and blackmailing DeGarmo and sentenced to serve 150 hours of community service.

She was arrested again in January on six new charges of cyber-stalking the singer, her mother and her roommate in the United States. -

Boyband Star Arrested For Drunken Public Nakedness
(kyodo.co.jp) Tsuyoshi Kusanagi, a member of the Japanese [boyband] pop group SMAP, was arrested Thursday for public indecency after stripping naked while under the influence of alcohol at a Tokyo park, causing ripples not only in the nation but in South Korea, where the singer, who is fluent in Korean, is also popular.

After arresting the 34-year-old Kusanagi, police searched his home in Tokyo's Minato Ward, spurring numerous telephone calls from his fans in protest.

The suspect admitted to stripping naked and told investigators, ''I regret what I did. I don't remember how I went to the park, and why I became naked,'' according to the police. - more on this story
