With such a strong response to the original, Keelay & Zaire have decided to put together a MYX Music Label All-Star team on its remix, including Tunji, Kam Moye (aka Supastition), Jern Eye, Thurzday (U.N.I.), and Ragen Fykes. Speaking on why they chose to remix this song, Keelay says, "In a lot of the remixes we have been doing the past year we really wanted to bring back the remix culture of the 90's when folks would do a whole new take on a song. We decided to hop in the studio with our band The Park and completely redo the original beat with a much more live feel." While the official track has yet to be unleashed, the video gives viewers a unique inside peak into the making of a remix, giving a look at each artist laying down their verses over the newly laid live instrumentation. For those who may rarely get to see the behind the scenes work of artists in the studio, this video lets fans check a few of their favorites live and in action. Ridin High is available now via MYX Music Label.

Co-produced by Khosla and Beach Boys engineer Jeff Peters, this album has lived in Khosla's mind since he was a child, growing up in his New Jersey home listening to a mix of Bollywood oldies and Western rock bands. "Mohd. Rafi, Michael Stipe of REM, Kishore Kumar, and The Beatles all have inspired me ever since I could sing my first note," Khosla reveals. While these influences are widely apparent in the 11-song collection, the album also evokes sunny California pop, 1960s Indian films and George Harrison's psychedelia-tinged work.

The legendary jazz and r&b producer Joel Dorn (Apr. 7, 1942 Dec. 17, 2007) initially heard Mendelson's first self-released solo CD in 2005 and was sufficiently impressed to offer his expertise. Before he passed in 2007, Dorn was instrumental in landing her current recording deal with Ryko, and they worked hand and hand in the studio on these 6 tracks. Leslie went on to record her Ryko debut, Swan Feathers with Rob Mounsey producing. Together, Dorn and Mendelson created a collection of the pristine songs filled with timeless splendor. Mendelson's stunning song craft and heartfelt lyrics stand out on original songs like "I Won't Tell", "Last Goodbye" and "I Know You Better Than That". And with effervescent soul and pure subtlety, Mendelson and Dorn recreate Rolling Stones' "Waiting On A Friend", George Harrison's "Beware of the Darkness" and The Ronettes' "Be My Baby". - more on this story
