Kanye West Acts Like An Ass At Another Awards Show
antiMusic reports: Crybaby Kanye West proved once again why he should be permanently barred from all awards ceremonies when he jumped on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night and disrupted Taylor Swift as she was giving an acceptance speech.

Swift's "You Belong With Me," beat out Beyonce's "Single Ladies" for best female video. Kanye who has been a crybaby on his own behalf at past the VMAs, the Grammys, the American Music Awards when he lost, this time was a crybaby and sore loser for Beyonce.

As Swift was accepting her award, the AP reports that Kanye jumped up on stage and said "Taylor, I'm really happy for you, and I'm gonna let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time." AP reports that a shocked Beyonce looked on and the crowd began to boo. A crestfallen Swift didn't finish her speech, but the audience applauded her anyway. She later performed "You Belong With Me" in a subway station.

Beyonce showed a LOT more class later in the program, read the AP article for that and Kanye's blogged apology - here

Michael Jackson Tribute Concert Canceled
Yahoo reports: A scheduled Michael Jackson tribute concert in Vienna has been canceled and the event will be staged in Britain next year, Organizers said Friday.

Michael's brother Jermaine Jackson had struggled to get R&B stars Mary J. Blige and Chris Brown and veteran singer Natalie Cole to confirm they could attend, fuelling speculation the gig would be canceled for lack of interest.

"Due to the short time frame it was not possible for many of them to change their schedule so that they could be on stage in Vienna on September 26, therefore we decided, after careful consideration, to change the date of the tribute concert to the summer 2010," he said in the statement issued in London. - more on this story

Pablove Across America
PR reports: On October 10, Dangerbird Records co-founder, Jeff Castelaz, along with his friend and coach Rick Babington, will embark on a 30-day bike expedition across the entire United States, with the sole mission to improve the treatment experience for children with cancer. Castelaz's goal is to raise $1 million in funds and to increase awareness of pediatric cancer along the way. His pilgrimage is deeply rooted: he's riding in honor and remembrance of his 6-year old son, Pablo Thrailkill Castelaz, whose individual fight with cancer ended June 27, 2009 after a 13-month battle.

At the onset of Pablo's diagnosis, Castelaz and his wife Jo Ann Thrailkill founded The Pablove Foundation. Pablove Across America is Castelaz's physical show of commitment to fighting cancer. His message is urgent: kids get cancer too. Families need help and hope - not only to find a cure, but to increase joy and compassion during the day-to-day grind of treatment.

The 3,100-mile ride will begin in St. Augustine, Fla. and culminate at Pablo's grave at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles. Various guest cyclists such as Pablo's friend Lance Armstrong will join on different legs of the jaunt, as they cover 100-plus miles a day, six days a week. Two special benefit concerts will take place: one in Austin, Texas, at Emo's Jr. on October 28, one in Los Angeles November 21. Concert details will be announced shortly. - more on this story
