The Prodigy CD/DVD/Blu-Ray Coming in May
(The End Records) The Prodigy have announced a May 24 release date for their first ever live album and film, World's On Fire which will be released on CD/DVD and CD/BLU-RAY.

Portraying The Progigy's biggest show to date from their sold out Warrior's Dance Festival at the Milton Keynes Bowl, the CD/DVD includes their biggest tunes Omen, Firestarter, Breathe, Warrior's Dance, Smack My Bitch Up and more.

"A lot of thought went into the place where we could throw the best party. We never wanted the typical stadium venue so, Milton Keynes Bowl was perfect for our first ever UK Warrior's Dance Festival coz it felt like a mad party in a field. The night was massive for us. It was important to us to bring a proper festival day and night for the people to remember and bring the same intense atmosphere like when we play Brixton Academy.... and it was. Standing on that stage was a truly triumphant feeling for us as the whole place kicked off, we looked out and we were fukin proud We never intended to do a live DVD, but when we saw the footage we knew it had to be doneand born out of that we realised we had a great live album too!" - Liam, Keef & Maxim.(The Prodigy)

The Chain Gang of 1974 Set New Release
The Chain Gang of 1974 has set a June 21st release of their new album, Wayward Fire.

The Chain Gang of 1974's genre-jumping singer/multi-instrumentalist Kamtin Mohager moved from Denver to Los Angeles, severed the ties of the two-year relationship that fueled Wayward Fire, and raised the curtain on what's next, proving that this particular film has just begun.

On Wayward Fire, the laser-guided synth lines of "Undercover" and the rather epic "Hold On"-crowd pleasers that hint at everything from LCD Soundsystem to Talking Heads-make perfect sense alongside such shifting soundscapes as the shimmering keys of "Don't Walk Away," the hands-in-the-air hooks of "Taste of Heaven," and the choruses that cut through the rain clouds in "Matter of Time." Of course, it doesn't hurt that Mohager balances his minor-key melodies with bold, bloodletting lyrics. more on this story
