Whitney Houston and her ex-husband Bobby Brown reunited in Boston, Massachusetts on Monday at the funeral of the R&B star's late mother. more (FMQB) Elton John's duet with Lady Gaga for the upcoming animated movie Gnomeo & Juliet will apparently only be featured in the film, but not on the soundtrack. The soundtrack version of "Hello Hello," written by John and Bernie Taupin, only features John himself. more Speaking of Elton: (Yahoo) Elton John says Billy Joel needs to get serious about rehab and 'do something better' with his life. John makes the comments about his former touring partner in the Feb. 17 edition of Rolling Stone magazine. He tells the magazine the pair canceled many tours because of Joel's illnesses and 'alcoholism.' more (FMQB) Justin Timberlake will voice a character in an upcoming episode of The Cleveland Show, airing February 20 on Fox. more Prince has announced that his guest for the February 7th date of his critically acclaimed "Welcome 2 America" performances at Madison Square Garden will be none other than Cee-Lo Green. Cee-Lo joins an impressive list of opening guests that have included Janelle Monae, Esperanza Spalding, Maceo Parker, Mint Condition, Sinbad, Lalah Hathaway, Cassandra Wilson, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings and Larry Graham. This Friday, February 4 at 10:30 PM ET, tune in to IFC's newest comedy series, Portlandia, for a special episode featuring Sarah McLachlan and Aimee Mann. The ceremony will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network. Nominees were announced at a press conference Tuesday morning at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville. Country superstars Miranda Lambert and Ronnie Dunn read the nominations live during CBS' The Early Show broadcast. Thirty-four videos gained Platinum status with over 10,000 plays each, while seventeen further videos gained Gold status with more than 5000 plays. Lady Gaga scored a hat trick of Platinum awards for "Bad Romance", "Telephone" and "Alejandro". Black Eyed Peas picked up two Platinum awards for their huge dance hits "Meet Me Halfway" and "Rock That Body", as did David Guetta for "Memories" and "Gettin Over You" featuring Fergie. The video was shot in one continuous take, following the band as they make their way home and meet various characters. In order to keep the action synced with the track, one continues shot means a lot of cues for a lot of people. It took four hours of rehearsing, many false starts and a few raised voices in order to get the timings perfect but eventually it all come together. The end result is currently on rotation on MTV Base and Channel U and is number 1 in the Flava chart. The video was produced by Two Fish Films who donated their time and expertise for free. The video was shot on a glamorous location just outside Harrow on a freezing cold November day. The miniscule budget, scraped together by the band themselves, meant the cast and crew had to work exceptionally hard. Check it out here
