Franklin helped debut the Seneca Niagara Events Center and Seneca Niagara Casino's 357-foot AAA Four Diamond Award-winning hotel tower with a New Year's Eve 2005-2006 performance and is a frequent guest of the property. Franklin will release his 12th CD, Hello Fear, on March 22, 2011. Two singles from Hello Fear have been released simultaneously to gospel and urban adult contemporary radio. "'I Smile' is a fun, urban upbeat melody I wrote," said Franklin. "It is a declarative statement that I'm not going to live my life based on how I feel. I will live my life based on God's Word. Schwartz, and sources connected with the case tell TMZ that during the hearing prosecutor Danette Meyers will present Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Holley, with a formal offer to plea bargain the case. Sources tell us Meyers has already told Holley any deal will include significant jail time ... but Lindsay steadfastly refuses to accept a plea that involves time behind bars. Sources connected with the case tell us Judge Schwartz will propose that Lindsay accept jail time for the probation violation and three years felony probation for the grand theft case. But here's the BIG problem with that -- if Lindsay gets in trouble during the probationary period, she'll go to state prison. more on this story
After a decade of success in the business world, Black is taking a chance and following her music dreams with this new release. The rootsy collection of revealing and authentic tunes was recorded with producer, Lorne Entress (Lori McKenna, Bittertown). Available digitally, the album's foundation is a traditional American roots sound but it's not without a dash of rock and soul. "My goal was to create music that successfully merged the acoustic and electric instrumentation that I love," says Black. Before Timbre Coup plays Snoe.Down, they will be wrapping up residency at Nectar's in Burlington, Vermont, on February 23, 2011. The residency has allowed the band to build momentum in the Vermont-area, piquing the interest of Snoe.down organizers.
