A rep for the I Am Still Music Tour tells TMZ, the concerts have "a dry backstage as we are committed to keeping a safe and professional atmosphere to ensure a smoothly running tour." Weezy is forbidden from drinking alcohol as part of his three-year probation, which kicked off last year -- following a drug-filled tour bus incident back in 2008. As TMZ first reported, Muska was arrested vandalizing two buildings on Wednesday night -- and hurled the N-word at security guards several times during the ordeal. According to legal docs filed in the Delaware bankruptcy case, the Dodgers solicited a $150 million loan from the Highbridge -- an investment management company. MLB objected to the loan, partly because there were strings attached -- specifically, liens on the Dodgers' assets. According to the docs, MLB has now offered to make the $150 million loan itself, with more favorable terms -- notably an interest rate that is 3% less than Highbridge is offering, and there would be no liens attached. No word yet on whether the Dodgers will accept the MLB loan. more on this story

Just take a look at the cover of Ancient & Modern and you'll know what we're talking about! Let the band take you for a walk down memory lane, to the world as it was just before the First World War ... to the Edwardian Era, to the Naughty Naughties a hundred years ago, a cozy nostalgic world: cricket on the village green, punting down the river in a striped blazer and boater, off with the hounds, picnic hampers, community singing, mistresses and wives, mysticism, secret societies, dangerous poetry, radical modern art, Freud, national strikes, revolution, anarchists, bombers, British concentration camps ... oops, is that really a hundred years ago?!? Mekons travel back/forward to a world unaware that it's waiting for the pistol to CRACK CRACK CRACK in Sarajevo, plotting their singular course through the digital tsunami of contemporary sounds that blare tinnily from your mobile phone or spin at 78rpm in His Master's Voice from the horn of your exquisite Gramophone. more on this story

Farrah donated her vast collection of art to her alma mater, the University of Texas. One of the pieces she donated was one of two famous Warhol portraits of the "Charlie's Angels" star. O'Neal insists the other portrait is his -- given to him by Warhol, who was a close personal friend. He says it's one of his most "prized possessions and a precious memento of his life with Ms. Fawcett." According to the lawsuit, filed by Marty Singer, Craig Nevius -- who has been dogging O'Neal for years -- began telling various media outlets that he stole the portrait in question from Farrah. Last month, "Good Morning America" and Star Magazine ran stories that O'Neal was being investigated for theft -- something O'Neal calls "false, malicious and defamatory." The stories triggered a demand from the University of Texas that O'Neal turn the portrait over, stat. more on this story

"Cold" is a follow up to our first single "GO". Like most songs on our albums, the song just came about very naturally. Eddie one day came to me with a set of chords and a synth riff of a song idea he had in his head. We just sat down at the studio and laid down a basic dance beat and started writing melody lines over the chords. We wanted to sort of bring back the throwback feel of the 80s mixing old school beat with a simple, straight to the point hook melody and of course fusing it with some current sounds. The B part of the song definitely brings back the elements of the 80s with a very ominous bass line a la "Human League", "ABC", etc. The funny thing is...when people hear the song in Asia they say it sounds very "Western"...and when people hear it in the US they say it has a very "Asian" sound. Perhaps, that's the sound that we are best known for since we grew up knowing both cultures very well. We were also very fortunate to collaborate with some great world renowned DJs for our remixes for this song...namely "FRAKTAL" and the "Outfielders." They were able to give this song a whole new life. FRAKTAL who is well known for producing electro/lounge/house music in Sweden was able to fuse future jazz and dub house elements to the song. Outfielders gave the song a whole new twist for the clubs taking a electro/techno approach. Both versions give the song "COLD" a whole new vibe for the clubs. We hope to hear these remixes in the clubs out there very soon! Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself as you check out the video right here!
