Day in Pop Report for 06/13/2011
We're told officers responded to an accident scene around 3:30 AM -- after someone reported that Gary crashed his vehicle into two parked cars. During the investigation, cops found "a few pills" of ecstasy -- and arrested the actor on a drug possession charge. Dourdan was taken to a nearby station -- where he was booked and bail was set at $10,000. After spending several hours in custody, Dourdan was released just after 12:00 PM. It's not the first time Dourdan has been arrested for drugs -- back in 2008, Gary pled guilty to possession of cocaine and ecstasy after an incident in Palm Springs. more on this story
Immediately following his performance on the NBC's Today Show, David will head to the Paramount Hotel in Times Square for a special This Loud Morning performance for contest winners, hotel guests, and VIPs.
Cops responded to the Nichole's home after a woman whose speech was VERY slurred called 911 -- and talked gibberish to the operator on May 31. Once cops arrived, we're told officers determined Hiltz appeared HAMMERED and was unable to care for the minor child who was in the home. Hiltz was booked on suspicion of misdemeanor child neglect -- and the child was taken into protective custody. An attorney for the actress tells us the situation was a "misunderstanding" and the child wasn't harmed. We're told cops are still investigating the incident. more on this story
As TMZ first reported, a photog named Scott Nathan sued Lindsay's clothing line, 6126, claiming he was never paid for his work. The lawsuit settled for an undisclosed amount back in December -- and according to docs filed last week, 6126 was supposed to making payments beginning in March ... but so far -- zilch. Now Nathan is asking a judge for an order to enforce the settlement -- attaching bank accounts, etc. A rep for Lindsay tells TMZ, "We don't comment on any pending legal situations with third parties." more on this story

Lorre recalled being a 22-year-old guitarist with "serious chops," or so he thought until one fateful afternoon at a University of Miami guitar class: "A painfully shy, 16-year-old boy walked into the room," he recalled. "He could barely speak nor make eye contact with anyone, seemed dwarfed by his big jazz guitar, and was ludicrously introduced as a visiting professor to the university. His name was Pat Metheny. I'll never forget how I felt when he began to play. It was an imploding feeling, like the kind you get when your ego is being demolished like an old Vegas casino. Thankfully, the feeling was accompanied by a soft, reassuring voice in my head that whispered, 'Find work in television, nobody's a prodigy there.'" more on this story
A story is circulating ... London helped facilitate the alleged Lockett/Kardashian hook-up by scoring Bret's number at Kim request. But an attorney for London fired off a letter to In Touch Friday, claiming London has had an impersonator for a while now, and if the mag spoke to anyone claiming to be her ... they were barking up the wrong tree. The letter goes on to state emphatically that London "has never spoken to anyone at IN TOUCH WEEKLY, does not know Mr. Lockett and did not introduce him to Ms. Kardashian." For Kim's part, she's threatened to sue Lockett and In Touch, claiming she's never met or spoken with the dude. Lockett has refused to give any details that would support his claim. more on this story

According to jail records, Love was booked into custody at 9:07 AM PT Friday. What's interesting ... even though jail records indicate he was arrested for fourth degree domestic assault -- the lowest DV charge there is -- bail has been denied and Love is still in custody. Love is currently on probation for assault and that could by why he's been denied bail. Love's attorney had no comment. more on this story

Dr. Phil made the frantic call on May 19, claiming, "My wife is down on the tennis court. I think someone down there has had a heart attack." Of course it wasn't as easy as asking for an ambulance -- Phil's house is so big ... the doc had to give the 911 dispatcher special instructions ... just so the ambulance could get inside the Bev Hills compound. As we first reported, the man was transported to a nearby hospital and released shortly after -- and we're told, thanks to Dr. Phil, he's "doing fine." more on this story

TMZ obtained the latest docs in the Grammers' epic legal war. Kelsey wanted his eldest daughter, 27-year-old Spencer and her new husband to vacation at the Grammers' posh Hawaii estate, beginning today. Camille's lawyer, Neal Hersh went to court yesterday to block Spencer from using the house, and now we know why. According to Camille's declaration, she's the one who has been spending a lot of time at the house with their 2 young kids, and Kelsey hasn't been there for a long, long time. Camille believes if Spencer and her hubby use the house, they would have access to a lot of personal stuff related to the divorce and might just steal it. Camille seems particularly bitter because Kelsey has banned her from their Bridgehampton estate. Such rich people problems. more on this story

You ask what Conrad Murray has to do with MJ videos? Well, Dr. Murray wants to see ALL of the rehearsal videos shot for the doomed "This is It" tour. Murray's lawyers believe it could show Michael was in such a frail condition ... there were many reasons for his death other than Propofol. Murray's lawyers subpoenaed the tapes, but now Sony Pictures -- which has possession of the videos -- is objecting for several reasons. Sony claims there are more than 20 boxes of videos and it would cost $200,000 to log and reproduce all of them. But in the docs, Sony describes how top secret the videos were to the studio. Sony lawyers say, "When they were transported to the Sony lot in Culver City, the transport in an unmarked truck was accompanied by armed guards in the dead of the night." more on this story
