According to law enforcement sources, Beckham was driving on the 405 Freeway near Torrance, CA Friday morning ... when he rear-ended a gold Mitsubishi that was broken down in the carpool lane. We're told the driver of the Mistubishi had to be taken to the hospital, but Beckham did not require medical attention. Law enforcement sources tell us Beckham was not arrested or cited on the scene. more on this story
Sources close to Pacquiao tell TMZ he was traveling in a fleet of cars after church today, when one of Manny's security vehicles collided with the car carrying Manny. We're told Pacquiao is back at his hotel now, where his trainer, Freddie Roach, checked him out. According to our source, Pacquiao is just a little shaken up ... but he's okay to go for tonight. more on this story
Charlie tells TMZ ... it's the first time he's been able to spend a weekend with Bob and Max since the judge took custody away from him back in March. Charlie says he's spending the weekend expanding the boys' vocabulary: "I am teaching them words, because they're speaking now. I'm teaching them the word 'rehab' so they always know where their mom is." more on this story
TMZ reports: "American Idol" reject Jacob Lusk is telling friends he's not to blame for the TERRIBLE song choices that led to his elimination this week ... insisting he got BAD advice from Jimmy Iovine. TMZ spoke with a source extremely close to Lusk ... who tells us Jacob never wanted to perform the Jordin Sparks /Chris Brown duet, "No Air" on Wednesday's show ... but Iovine pressured him into it. We're told Lusk really wanted to perform the Gnarls Barkley hit, "Crazy" -- but Iovine was so insistent on "No Air" that he basically "beat it into his brain" until Lusk finally gave in and agreed to perform the song. During the show, Randy Jackson told Lusk, "I don't think that's the direction for you ... I don't think anybody on this stage should be doing duet songs." Lusk reportedly isn't the first one to point a finger at Iovine's advice and it's not James who is smart enough to ignore it
The video clearly shows the female driver of a Honda Civic pulling into a gas station in Studio City, CA followed by a police car. The woman emerges from the vehicle and complies with the cops ...laying face first on the ground as officers ordered Ward out of the car. Ward -- who was described as "cooperative" -- kept his hands in the air during the incident and followed orders until cops placed him in handcuffs. TMZ broke the story ... cops pulled the car over because it had recently been reported stolen. But it was all a mistake and Hines and the driver were released after cops discovered the stolen vehicle report was way outdated. Hines eventually released a statement saying, "The police were just doing their job. Apologies were made, and it's now in the past. Moving forward." Read more and check out the video here
The Biebs is scheduled to perform across the Pacific in two weeks -- once in Osaka and once in Tokyo -- but as we previously reported, many of his crew members are flat out REFUSING to take the trip ... because they're afraid of the cancer risks from the recent nuclear disaster. We're told the crew is still locked in stalemate over the concerts -- but the Biebs has decided ... he's hitting Japan this month no matter what ... crew be damned. And get this ... if Bieber doesn't have the manpower for stadium gigs -- we're told he'll take on whatever smaller venues he can ... all the way down to homeless shelters. more on this story

Vivid Entertainment honcho Steven Hirsch sent Pippa the letter, saying he thought she was the star of the Royal Wedding and that her "beauty and attitude" would make her a huge adult star. The fact she had some semi-racy photos surface this week probably didn't hurt either. The most recent arrest involves 17-year-old Jamie McKay -- who was popped for simple assault back in January for an incident involving a female classmate. According to court documents, McKay punched the girl in the back of the head -- TWICE -- but the case was eventually dismissed. As for her baby daddy -- 18-year-old Ryan McElrath -- he was arrested for cocaine and weed possession back in July ... followed by an underage drinking bust in August. But the most shocking part -- Ryan was busted for "assault on a female" and resisting police officers back in November. TMZ has learned McElrath's alleged victim was NOT his baby mama. more on this story
TMZ spoke with Hilton ... who tells us, "I apogize to Lindsay for the comment that I made. I was joking around but it was thoughtless and unnecessary." We broke the story ... Hilton zinged Lohan on her reality show, "The World According to Paris" -- taking a shot at Lohan about her theft case. Lohan told friends she was hurt by the comment.
