The footage, part of The Creators Project, shows Florence, Isa, Paul Epworth and the rest of the band as they are recording the album in the legendary Abbey Road studios. The video also includes a live performance of "Shake It Out" from a recent New York concert.
The move seemed to confuse some viewers, since the show didn't make any reference to Beyonce being on tape that night. An expectant Beyonce has a new DVD due November 21: "Live At Roseland" captures Beyonce in concert at the famed New York venue, where she played four shows this past August, in sync with the title of her latest release, "4." more on this story
As TMZ first reported, Sasha read children's books at Emerson Elementary School in Compton on November 2 as part of the Read Across America program. Even though we have photos of Sasha reading to kids, a rep for the school denies she was ever there. Regardless, Hirsch fired off a letter commending the school for allowing Grey to appear. In the letter, Hirsch offers up two of his stars -- Chyna and Allie Haze -- as possible future volunteers. more on this story
Dan and Laura Dotson came across the stash inside a foreclosed storage locker at an auction in Contra Costa County, CA -- which they sold off to one lucky bastard for just over a grand. The Dotsons discovered the pirates booty after auctioning off the locker -- a small treasure an expert described as "Pieces of Eight Spanish Gold," dating anywhere between the 16th and 19th century. According to one source, the coin box was so heavy ... it took 3 people to move it out of storage. We're told an appraisal expert valued the collection at around $500,000. Yo ho ho! more on this story
TMZ has confirmed ... Anthony approached the two Marines and personally invited them to hang with him at Tao nightclub Thursday night -- hours before Veteran's Day. We're told Anthony treated the guys like rock stars -- ordering bottles of expensive booze at a private V.I.P. table and making sure everyone knew they were the guests of honor that night. Sources close to Marc tell us the singer was more than happy to treat the marines as a thank you for their service to our country. more on this story
We're told Heavy's family has organized a public viewing on Thursday -- and anyone who wants to pay tribute to the hip hop legend is encouraged to show up. But the following day, the burial service is V.I.P. only -- and the invite list only includes close members of Heavy's family and dear friends, such as Diddy, Mary J. Blige, a few of the Wayans brothers ... and others. We're told Eddie F and G-Whiz -- former members of Heavy D and the Boyz -- are also on the invite list. TMZ broke the story, Heavy D passed away last Tuesday at his home in Beverly Hills. He was 44-years-old. more on this story
Sources close to the contestants tell TMZ, the unidentified singers in question were staying at the Grafton Hotel ... and when four of them woke up in the morning, they were covered in bites. We're told the contestants did a little digging and claim they discovered the hotel had a massive bed bug infestation -- so they bailed asap, and notified "X Factor" producers ... who then dealt with the hotel and found new digs for the singers. Sources connected to production say the hotel acknowledged the bed bug problem. A rep for the Grafton had no comment when we called. more on this story
Sources connected with Kris and Kim tell us ... there are NO conflicts over who gets what, largely because of the prenup. BTW, Hutton repped Kris when the prenup was negotiated. We're told -- barring something unforeseen -- the divorce will become final 6 months from the date Kim filed. That's the minimum time required by law. more on this story
There are reports out that MSNBC funded Murray's legal defense, but our sources say it is "absolute B.S." We're told Murray's lead attorney, Ed Chernoff, is about to leave the case -- possibly before an appeal is filed -- because he needs to get back to his practice in Houston and make some money, because the Murray case almost put him under. We're told Murray got $1 for his participation in the documentary. But the people who are saying he got a buck will not say if he'll share in profits from selling the show. more on this story
For those who don't remember -- the group starred in a TV movie and spin off series which parodied the boy band craze ... and the group became so popular they even toured with Britney Spears. TMZ spoke to the Alex Solowitz -- the "bad boy" of the group -- who tells us that the guys have discussed filming a parody documentary detailing the band's reunion. The fake-doc would also show them creating a new song. Sadly, the group's youngest member, Michael Cuccione, passed away in 2001 after a long battle with cancer. The group plans on donating a MAJOR amount of the proceeds to his foundation. Solowitz says the whole group is on board -- now they just need to meet with MTV and the show's creators to get them to sign off on the idea. more on this story
Unbreakable is one of those songs that came together very naturally. I remember writing the song at my parents' house in the south of France on a cold rainy December day. Some of my closest friends were going through a very tough phase at that time, having the feeling that the world was melting down around them but yet refusing to surrender. Sadly, the world is - especially in this day and age - akin to a wild roller coaster ride with more downs than ups but it is also a compelling journey which we can't get off and remaining hopeful and optimistic is the key to happiness. Saying "I'm strong, not unbreakable" is not being weak but merely an admission that we're only human. We can face up to a challenge but we also all have a breaking point within ourselves. Being a big movie aficionado, most of my songs are structured like movie snippets with a storyline, characters and sequences. Pretty much like a novel where you are the protagonist - if you close your eyes, you can make up your own story of this guy walking through life and fighting his personal battles. Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the album right here!
