Britney Spears Vs Christina Aguilera in Bowling Tournament
Can you imagine Britney Spears taking on Christina Aguilera in a celebrity bowling tournament? You will be given the change to imagine it with following news we received about a virtual tournament which pits Britney against Xtina.

The third annual Celebrity Bowling Hall of Fame competition is looking for a spectacular finish in the fourth week of voting with the final round of celebrities left to battle it out in this bracket-style tournament where fans will decide who will prevail as the winner of this year's tournament by casting votes on www.GoBowling.com. The last contestants standing are fierce female finalists: superstar songstress Britney Spears and fellow pop princess Christina Aguilera.

Throughout the four week competition, the "Legacy" bracket has been focusing on two bowling icons that have popularized bowling on the silver screen. So far, the Legacy face-off has seen an overwhelming amount of votes in favor of the "The Dude" (Jeff Bridges who starred in the cult bowling movie favorite "The Big Lebowski"). However, if "McCracken" fans (supporting Bill Murray of "Kingpin") are rallied, there is still a chance for him to strike into the Celebrity Hall of Fame with a come from behind victory. more on this story

Apple's employee #2 adds, "It's almost too bad that Steve Jobs is gone. His opinions and guidance, as to the story and film crew and cast would have been invaluable." Check out Steve's entire statement

Vinn adds, "It shows respect for not only the unit I had served in, but for every person that has ever defended this nation. Thank you WWE."

Real Battle for Real Housewives Star
(TMZ) Slade Smiley from "Real Housewives of Orange County" is threatening legal action against his baby mama after he was verbally assaulted on a Hollywood red carpet and accused of being a deadbeat dad.

TMZ posted the video this morning of a man attacking Slade and Gretchen Rossi ... accusing Slade of being $160,000 in arrears on his child support to Michelle Arroyo.

Slade's attorney tells TMZ, "Slade is not a deadbeat dad and is making timely payments. We will be looking into this further and if Miss Arroyo did hire these clowns to harass Slade we will exercise all our rights including a restraining order if necessary."

The attorney also says Arroyo is actually denying Slade time with his son, Grayson ... an 11-year-old diagnosed with cancer. Arroyo says Slade is now paying her $775/month, but claims he remains $95,000 behind.

As for last night's 3 ring circus ... Slade's lawyer says, "It appears this whole thing was staged and created by Miss Arroyo who is obviously looking for attention." more on this story

Tim Tebow's Jets Number Cursed?
(TMZ) Tim Tebow's new teammate wasn't being generous when he willingly gave Tebow his #15 jersey -- Tebow's old number on the Broncos -- because it's CURSED ... at least according to its former owner.

In case you didn't know -- #15 on the Jets was previously worn by wide receiver Scotty McKnight, who was re-signed by the Jets just two days ago.

But Scotty doesn't have fond memories of wearing the jersey -- getting minimal playing time during last year's preseason, and eventually getting bumped to the Jets practice squad where he tore his ACL.

Now, sources close to Scotty tell us, the WR is pumped to start fresh with a new number -- and sees Tebow taking the jersey as a blessing ... relieving him of his bad luck

Good news for Hayden Panettiere too -- because she's dating the guy. more on this story

Nic Cage Half-Way Back To Solvency
(TMZ) Nic Cage is half-way back to solvency ... TMZ has learned the actor just took a $6 MILLION chunk out of his MASSIVE tax bill to the federal government,.

According to official documents obtained by TMZ ... Cage paid off the $6,257,005 he failed to pay in federal income tax for 2007.

It's a huge step ... considering Cage fell around $13 million behind in taxes for 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2007. Cage blamed his former business manager for driving him to what he called "financial ruin."

As we previously reported, Cage has been slowly chipping away at the debts from 2002 --2004 ... and if he just knocks out a few more "Ghost Rider" movies, he should be even-steven in no time. more on this story
