The BHPD has been investigating Whitney's death since Feb 11 -- 2 months ago to the day. As we reported, the BHPD never believed anyone took cocaine from her hotel room because they found the cocaine residue and powder inside Whitney's room at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills. Cocaine was a contributing factor in the singer's death ... so says the L.A. County Coroner. more on this story

TMZ broke the story ... Marisa Dugas went to the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. and filed an incident report, claiming she was at Smoke and Mirrors inside The Standard Thursday night when she approached Lindsay's table and started talking to a guy, and Lindsay allegedly pushed and shoved her. Lindsay insists she was at home the entire evening. The man who worked that night tells TMZ ... he saw Lindsay in Smoke and Mirrors sitting with a group of people. He says Marisa sat down near them and began speaking with one of the guys. The man says people in the group started throwing ice at her. Marisa got upset and a scuffle erupted. He says Lindsay was part of the scuffle and he broke it up. The guy says the woman was escorted out of the club, where she cried hysterically and then said Lindsay hurt her, but she refused medical attention. There are no pictures that have surfaced of Lindsay at the Standard Thursday night, but the man says there is a surveillance video showing the back of the hotel, where Lindsay pulled in and later left. We have confirmed the man has spoken with cops, although we do not know how much detail he divulged. Sources tell us the L.A. County Sheriff's Department has already requested the surveillance tape three times from the hotel -- but hotel management is refusing to give it up. It's unclear why. Detectives are still investigating the alleged incident. more on this story

TMZ has a pic that shows Alexander at an event earlier in the evening. Then we got more pics -- shot at around 11:45 PM -- showing Alexander, wearing the same leather jacket and skinny jeans -- covering his face leaving Sayers. The California Dept. of Alcoholic Beverage Control tells TMZ ... Sayers has a Type 48 license, meaning only patrons 21 and over can enter. Robbie McKay, Director of Communications for Sayers, tells TMZ when security spotted Ludwig inside the club he was asked to leave. Check out the photos
Scott's lawyer Loredana Nesci tells TMZ, Scott did NOT choke out his girlfriend Lisa Howell -- even though Lisa told cops the wrestling legend grabbed her by the throat in a drunken fit of rage outside his Florida home, and tried to pull her out of her car. Cops claim they observed multiple signs of injury on Lisa's body that were consistent with her story -- including red marks around her neck -- so they placed Scott under arrest. But Scott's lawyer tells us, "The police arrested Mr. Hall against the wishes of Ms. Howell, who insisted that the argument did not result in violence. Ms. Howell claims that there was no physical abuse." Lisa has refused to press charges -- but the lawyer's statement contradicts the arrest report ... which states Scott did get violent. The lawyer adds, Scott and Lisa "have a peaceful and amicable relationship." more on this story
In the tape, the caller -- a member of the security team from the Beverly Hilton -- reports a 46 year old female who was found in a bathroom at the hotel. At first, the caller is unsure if Whitney was breathing ... but later reports she is not breathing. The security member says he was alerted to the situation by a female who was in the room ... and says the woman was "irate" and kept hanging up on him. As we previously reported, Whitney's official cause of death is listed as "accidental drowning" -- but heart disease and cocaine use were contributing factors. According to the final autopsy report, Whitney may have overdosed. According to the L.A. County Coroner, Whitney's chronic use of the drug caused a narrowing of her arteries, which resulted in a cardiac event before her death. Listen here.
Sources tell us, Dr. Dre didn't want to leave Nate out of his Sunday performance -- so he's incorporating his old friend using hologram technology ... the same technology that broadcast Mariah Carey's image across Europe last year ... at 5 simultaneous concerts. We're told an image of Nate will be projected onto the Coachella stage -- alongside Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Warren G, and Daz Dillinger -- to make it appear as though he's actually performing on stage. According to sources, Nate will perform several songs. The singer passed away last March -- just weeks before last year's Coachella festival. more on this story

"Cops" went on the air in 1989 and is still running. As for how much Langley is worth -- we're guessing a gazillion dollars. There is no evidence of a prenup from the documents, so both John and Maggie would split their fortune 50/50. But Maggie wants more. She's asking for spousal support and she wants John to foot the bill for her attorney. They were married in 1971. They have no minor children. more on this story
Eszterhas claims Mel talked about offing Oksana several times. To that Oksana's rep, Steve Jaffe says, "Mr. Eszterhas' charges are extremely serious and should be investigated by the authorities immediately." Jaffe says Oksana has no comment. We're told she signed a confidentiality agreement with Mel when they ended their custody/money war. more on this story
Back when McKinnie was a member of the Minnesota Vikings ... dude must have had a feeling a lockout was on the horizon ... because in February 2011, he took out a $4 million personal loan with Pro Player Funding ... which specialized in "lockout loans" for NFL guys looking to cover their finances during the impending pay freeze. According to court docs obtained by TMZ ... the loan was VERY high risk ... with high interest rates and a clause that allowed PPF to call in the entire amount due if Bryant missed ONE payment. And that's exactly what happened in August 2011 ... right after the lockout ended and Bryant was CUT from his team. But there seems to be an explanation ... according to the docs, McKinnie had directed his paychecks to go directly from the Vikings to PPF. But when Bryant was fired and the paychecks stopped, he never arranged for PPF to get its payments ... and he missed his August bill. PPF instantly went to the court and obtained a judgment against McKinnie ... ordering the NFL star to pay back his entire loan ... plus interest ... totaling $4.3 million. During the lockout, several NFL players spoke out against loans of this sort claiming they weren't in the best interest of the players ... and now McKinnie seems to be living proof. Calls to Bryant's rep have not been returned. more on this story
'Thieves' came together as a beat first. It was a bit complicated because I wanted to combined samples from two different songs. Pisces - Dear One & Pisces - Elephant Eyes. I knew the two would work together but it took a few days to get it to mesh right. I had to add a lot of original layers and tempo match without distorting them or anything. Those samples make up the verse section of the track. Once I had it sounding good I started working out the vocal melody and came up with it pretty fast. I wanted to get that Beatles "Leslie Speaker" effect on my voice so I used a Option 5 rotation pedal that I use on stage for guitar. My lyrics are about the pressures you put on yourself as an artist and sometimes wanting to run away from it all. Then the chorus is about letting those fears go to be able to reach your potential. The chorus (beat-wise) is original. I wanted to use an acoustic guitar at some point on the album and it worked well for this song. I had my friend Anna Yvette sing the choir like vocals on the hook telling her to think "Dark Side of the Moon". Once the track was wrapped up on my end we sent a version over to Casey Veggies to hop on and he killed it! The rest is history! Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen and download the full album right here!
