In case you missed her recent "Nightline" interview, Nicki went OFF on her dad Omar -- describing the guy as a drug addict and alcoholic who often threatened to kill her mother ... once even burning down their house. Nicki said, "I wanted to kill [my dad]. I used to wish he was dead ... 'We were afraid for my mother's life because whenever he would have a real bad outburst he would threaten to kill her." We're told her father still loves Nicki very much ... and always has. more on this story

"My hope was to continue those elements throughout the album as a whole, so I think its a good opening track."

The way she feels ... she's gone to Coachella for the last 4 or 5 years so she didn't think this year was a big deal. Lindsay insists she didn't have a drop of alcohol during the weekend -- she feels she she can control herself, even in a situation filled with temptation. We're told he said he wanted to give the marriage another try, but Jennifer confessed ... she was deeply in love with Casper ... and wanted to pursue that relationship. We're told Marc was blindsided ... he had not idea things were so serious -- and he was hurt. So that's why Marc filed divorce papers last week. more on this story

Boz has since sold the house. But things didn't go so well between Boz and Grasshopper -- which claims the property's septic tank went out between 2008-2009 ... and GH was forced to sink over $50,000 of its own money into fixing the problem. The restaurant's called Datt's It -- and we're told Cherie opened it last month in a developmentally-challenged section of Houston, hoping to bring the struggling neighborhood some business ... and bring it back to life. The menu includes all kinds of American classics -- burgers, fries, hot dogs, wings -- and the ONLY thing on the menu over $5 is the waffle with eggs and bacon (that's $6.50). Last time we heard anything about Cherie Johnson was over a year ago -- when she had just gotten engaged to Ricky Romance, brother of B2K singer Raz-B. Time flies. more on this story
