Lady Gaga Announces New Album Title

Initially promising fans, months ago, that the title would be made public in September, the singer initiated the news on Friday when she posted an instagram photo of herself sporting a new tattoo (see above), along with the caption: "new ink new album."

The singer followed her note up with a photo that read: "we could we could belong together. ARTPOP." more on this story

Facebook Bans Selena Gomez

18-year-old Selena MIRANDA Gomez tells TMZ, she tried to sign in to her Facebook account on Wednesday ... but was denied, receiving a message instead that her account had been disabled for being "inauthentic."

According to the error message, the account was disabled for violating Facebook's terms -- which state, "Impersonating anyone or anything is not allowed."

But clearly, the non-famous Selena isn't impersonating anyone -- and now she's really upset that she's been unfairly banned from her social networking profile, telling TMZ, "I AM NOT AN IMPOSTOR ... My name is not hers on my page. In fact, I even put my middle name on my FB to clear up any confusion."

She says, "I did not have one single famous friend. I did not refer to myself as [the famous Selena], and I did not have any pictures of her on my page!"

Selena says she's reached out to FB to reactivate her account -- but so far, no luck.

A rep for FB had no comment. more on this story

Mystikal Released From Jail

The "Shake Ya Ass" rapper was released from the East Baton Rouge Parish Jail in Louisiana last week... where he had been incarcerated since May 14.

As we previously reported, Mystikal was sentenced to 90 days behind bars after being arrested for domestic abuse ... a violation of his probation from a previous sexual battery and extortion conviction. more on this story

Katherine Jackson Doesn't Plan To Press Charges Against Her Children

As TMZ first reported, Jackson's declaration following the Arizona spa ordeal -- which came as part of her bid to obtain co-guardianship over Prince, Paris, and Blanket -- seemed to suggest she was tricked into going and had no idea MJ's kids were worried about her. As part of the declaration, Jackson said, "At the time, I trusted the people I was with to be honest with me."

But Katherine's attorney, Perry Sanders, tells TMZ she has "absolutely" no plans to press charges over the incident, telling us, "This chapter of chaos is closed and we are supportive of family unity in spite of recent events and arguably poor decisions."

Amanda Bynes Accused Of Another Hit and Run

Kisa (last name witheld) tells TMZ she was driving her Toyota Corolla on Ventura Blvd. in the San Fernando Valley when she was struck by a woman in a black BMW. Kisa tells TMZ she didn't recognize the woman at first -- because she "looked like a hot mess" -- but once they began talking, she realized it was Amanda Bynes.

Kisa says she got out her insurance card to exchange information, but says Bynes "seemed nervous about that." She says Bynes told her the damage to the Corolla didn't look that bad and proceeded to push her bumper back into place (that didn't work, see photo here.)

Bynes then, according to Kisa, said they didn't need to exchange info since neither car was damaged badly. Kisa maintains, however, that Amanda's car had "significant" damage to it.

Kisa says she continued to try and exchange info with Bynes, but Bynes just got in her car and drove off.

Kisa tells TMZ she called the police, who responded to the scene and took a hit and run report. Kisa says when she told the officer who hit her, the officer replied, "Didn't she just get a DUI?"

Bynes was arrested on suspicion of DUI on April 6 (she pled not guilty) and was also accused of hit and run incidents on May 5 and May 27. more on this story

Ellen Page Receiving Death Threats

The LAPD recently sent a search warrant -- obtained by TMZ -- to the micro-blogging site, demanding information regarding two Twitter accounts believed to be associated with an individual bent on killing the actress.

According to the warrant, the two accounts sent Ellen multiple threatening messages back in June -- such as, "I'm going to murder Ellen Page. She's dead."

And, "Ellen Page if you continue to date Alexander [Skarsgard] I will K-1-L-L you in public in the next year ... Be it in a club, at a game, in a restaurant, or when you're signing autographs."

The tweets have since been removed.

According to the LAPD, the threats also coincided with a creepy telephone call received by the non-profit that organizes the LA Film Festival, where Ellen's new movie "To Rome with Love" premiered on June 14th. The LAPD claims the caller promised to go to the festival and "kill Page."

Obviously that didn't happen -- but the investigation's still ongoing. more on this story

John Travolta Fires Back Over Cruise Ship Sexual Assault Claim

As TMZ first reported, Fabian Zanzi claims that Travolta exposed himself during a neck massage aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ... and offered to pay him $12,000 to keep the incident quiet. Zanzi detailed his allegations back on video in June.

In court docs filed last week by legal pitbull Marty Singer ... Travolta admits to being on cruise ... but denies all the allegations of misconduct against him.

Travolta also reiterates his point that Zanzi filed a report with Royal Caribbean over the alleged incident when it happened ... but failed to mention any of the sexual details.

Travolta wants the lawsuit dismissed and for Zanzi to pay his attorney's fees. more on this story

Stevie Wonder Files For Divorce

Wonder filed the divorce papers using his legal name, Stevland Morris, and signed with two fingerprints.

In the docs, filed by disso-queen Laura Wasser, Wonder asks for joint custody of the couple's two boys, ages 10 and 7. In the docs, Wonder agrees to pay both spousal and child support.

Although Wonder amassed his fortune long before he tied the knot with Kai back in 2001, some assets will be split ... though the papers indicate the amount has yet to be determined. more on this story

Cuba Gooding Jr Won't Face Charges For Bartender Shoving

According to the City Attorney's office, the case was dismissed due to a lack of a complaining witness -- i.e. the bartender in question, who announced she did NOT want to press charges.

The court signed an expungement order moments ago -- meaning it's like this whole thing never happened.

TMZ broke the story ... an arrest warrant was issued for Cuba on Tuesday -- when a female bartender at The Old Absinthe House on Bourbon Street said Cuba shoved her.

The bartender told police Cuba had gotten belligerent with other bar patrons for taking pictures of him -- and she asked him to leave. That's when she says Cuba roughed her up.

The argument then spilled outside, where Cuba called the bartender a "racist." more on this story

Mark DeBarge Going To Jail For Drug Bust

We broke the story ... Mark was busted along with a female companion in a Hollywood hotel room ... after the woman's parole officer stopped by for a routine check and discovered narcotics.

Mark was charged with felony drug possession in addition to misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also charged with possession of a fake ID.

Mark pled "no contest" earlier this month to all three counts -- and was sentenced to 180 days behind bars. He was also sentenced to 30 days community service with Caltrans ... and 3 years formal probation. more on this story

Octomom Puts Herself Up For Auction

Octo -- in a last ditch effort to earn more money before she gets kicked out of her La Habra home -- has created an online dating profile for a site called What'sYourPrice.com ... a website where users can PAY other users to go out with them.

In her profile, Octo says she has 14 kids, loves to work out and loves to laugh ... and she's starting the bidding at a cool $500.

This is the latest in a slew of ploys to earn more green off her Octo fame. If you recall she also signed up for a website where she can beg her fans for money ... but so far she's only raked in a mere $2,509. more on this story

Deion Sanders Trying To Dump Condo Amid Divorce Battle

Deion listed the condo -- located in the swanky celeb-filled Azure building -- back in March ... soon after his divorce from estranged wife Pilar went nuclear, when Pilar claimed Deion's aunt had attacked her in her own house.

Deion listed the home for $4.8 million -- but according to a realtor for Azure, the property is valued at roughly $6.5 million. In fact, Deion's neighboring unit is currently listed for exactly that amount.

And not only is he lowballing his own property, we're told Deion's doing some last minute renovations to speed up the sale -- such as re-plastering the pool.

Good thing too ... because this week, a judge ordered Deion to pay $10,000-a-month in child support and cough up another $275,000 for Pilar's attorneys' fees. more on this story

Levi Johnston To File For Full Custody of Child With Bristol Palin

In case you're like most of the country, and haven't been watching Bristol's new reality show "Life's a Tripp" -- her and Levi's son has been a little ball of trouble ... and in one recent episode, even called his aunt Willow the f-word. During the same episode, Bristol admits, "I'm doing a terrible job disciplining Tripp."

Now, Levi's had enough -- telling TMZ, he's been watching the show and is "disgusted" by his son's language and behavior. Levi says his son is on a "downward spiral" and getting "no real parenting."

Levi tells us, Tripp "deserves a better family" than what Bristol['s] providing -- adding, "I love my son more than anything .. and I will do whatever it takes to make sure he is raised the right way."

To ensure that happens, Levi dropped by the courthouse in Wasilla, Alaska this week to pick up all the necessary paperwork to obtain full custody of Tripp -- and he plans to file it ASAP. more on this story

Producer Vs The Game

According to a lawsuit filed in California, Infamous (real name Marco Rodriguez) claims he did work for Game all the time, so he had no problem sending him a beat to listen to back in 2010 ... so Game could decide whether or not he wanted to use it.

But Infamous claims he never reached any deal with Game, so he was shocked when the beat he made was turned into "Skate On," a song featured on Game's mixtape, "California Republic." Infamous is even credited as the producer on Wikipedia.

Infamous says he sent a letter to Game in April to try and get what's his ... but Game never responded.

Infamous says he usually charges between $20-$25,000 per song, but he's suing Game for damages in excess of $100,000. It's worth noting ... the mixtape is available for free online. more on this story

Warren Sapp's Air Jordans Collection Up For Grabs

The collection is INSANE -- a total of 240 pairs of Jordans ... some worn, some untouched.

TMZ broke the story ... Sapp filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy earlier this year ... claiming he's racked up millions of dollars in debts since he retired from the NFL. Warren's expensive shoe habit probably didn't help the situation.

But now, Warren's loss is your gain ... because the entire collection is now up for auction ... with all proceeds going towards paying back Warren's creditors. more on this story

Police Misinformed Media Over Montee Ball Investigation

TMZ broke the story ... the Madison Police Department HAD launched in an investigation into tips that Ball and several of his UW football teammates beat up a man at a party on July 27 ... several days before Ball was attacked on campus. Cops told the media that the TMZ report was not true. They lied.

After cops made their false statement, TMZ broke another story -- cops had interviewed the person who claimed he was brutally injured by Ball and others on July 27... and wanted to know if the alleged victim had ordered a retaliatory strike on Ball.

On Saturday, cops released a NEW statement .... finally admitting what we had already told you -- that investigators were indeed looking into the July 27 event.

Cops have now said ... "Through information developed by detectives, [The Madison PD has] determined that there was a fight that occurred Friday night which involved UW students, members of the UW football team, and other individuals that were not affiliated with the University of Wisconsin's Athletics Department."

The statement continues, "We have also determined that Montee Ball was present at the location of that fight, but we have no information that leads us to believe that he had any involvement in that particular event." more on this story

The Former Manager Situation All Cleared Up For Jersey Shore Star

As TMZ first reported, The Sitch was sued in 2011 by his ex-management company, Gotham NYC Entertainment, after they claimed they were wrongfully fired by the "Jersey Shore" star. The company alleged they took Sitch from "relative obscurity to become an international celebrity" and were seeking a million dollars in damages.

Sitch wasn't having any of it and filed his own countersuit ... claiming Gotham NYC did squat for him as his manager, failed to properly advise his career, and never returned his phone calls in a timely manner.

Now that's all behind them ... according to court docs, the two parties came to an agreement last month and dismissed both suits. They even agreed to pay their own legal fees. more on this story
