LAPD Apologize To Notorious B.I.G.'s Family Over Autopsy Release
The Los Angeles Police Department have apologized to Notorious B.I.G.'s family over releasing his autopsy report without letting them know before hand.

"Due to an administrative error, the autopsy report was released prematurely," the LAPD said in a statement. "Robbery-Homicide Division detectives had intended to notify Mr. Wallace's family prior to releasing the report."

"Our detectives personally spoke with the Wallace family [Friday] night, and apologized for not notifying them prior to the release" Captain Billy Hayes, head of the division investigating the shooting, told the Los Angeles Times. "Obviously this has been a challenging case for us to solve. We hope that witnesses or other people with information will come forward and give us the clues we need to solve this case."

The Times reports that the LAPD released the report "as an investigative tool, in the hopes that releasing the report would stimulate additional interest or bring forth witnesses or clues in the case." Read the LA Times story here for more details.

Psy Apologizes For Anti-American Song
On Friday, the media erupted after news of two performances surfaced in which South Korean rapper PSY made offensive innuendos about Americans. He has since issued an apology

"The song I was featured in – eight years ago – was part of a deeply emotional reaction to the war in Iraq and the killing of two Korean schoolgirls that was part of the overall antiwar sentiment shared by others around the world at that time.

"While I'm grateful for the freedom to express one's self, I've learned there are limits to what language is appropriate and I'm deeply sorry for how these lyrics could be interpreted. I will forever be sorry for any pain I have caused by those words," he said. The controversy didn't stop him from performing at the Christmas In Washington event.

Honey Boo Boo Won't Be Dancing with the Stars
(Extra) "Extra" caught up with Maks, his brother Val, and Peta from Dancing with the Stars at Jingle Ball this past Friday.

Maks told "Extra" he agrees with fellow cast mate Karina Smirnoff that DWTS is no place for Honey Boo Boo or her mother, June.

Maks said, "We also have lot of reports that we need bigger stars, and I concur, I think that some, not all, of our stars have been of questionable backgrounds, and I don't see Honey Boo Boo or any of her relatives having earned the right because I think it's an honor to be on the show."

Ne-Yo Wants To Collaborate With Taylor Swift
(Stereotude) Ne-Yo was at a recent Jingle Ball concert and spoke with Stereotude about what he'd like to hook up with (musically) in the future, both of which include the country genre and its denizen of country-pop crossover Taylor Swift.

For those of you worried that Ne-Yo might be veering a little out of his comfort zone with country radio, don't worry, he's not venturing too far. He also told Stereotude that he wants to work with Kanye West again and why wouldn't he?

Their hit with Keri Hilson, "Knock You Down," was only one of the biggest songs of 2009, but we agree. Three years is long overdue for a Ne-Yo and 'Ye smash. He also had something to say about One Direction

Stevie Wonder Giving Back With Christmas Concert
Stevie Wonder is spreading a little holiday cheer to children in need this Christmas.

With his 17th Annual House Full of Toys concert, taking place in L.A. on December 15, Stevie Wonder recruits some of his favorite new artists for a night filled with music and giving. Each member of the audience is asked to bring a gift that will be donated to families who are struggling.

Stevie told sister station 94.7 The Wave that the idea for his annual holiday concert started when he was just a little boy. "House Full of Toys…really came from when I was ten years old," he explained. "You know, then we didn't have anything, and I said 'If someday I became famous…I would do this show and call it House Full of Toys. It would be a house full of toys for all the kids all over the world who didn't have any toys for Christmas.'" Even more including a link to the full interview with a special performance.

Big Boi Sings Mumford & Sons' Praises
As one half of the legendary hip-hop crew Outkast, Big Boi's musical influences flow far and wide. His forthcoming album, Viscous Lies And Dangerous Rumors, promises a dynamic range of sonic styles.

But if Big Boi had his way, he would have a record with acoustic rock band and recently announced Grammy nominees, Mumford & Sons, whom he counts among his favorites.

"I'm biased because Mumford & Sons is one of my favorite groups," he told CBS Local, when asked about the group's GRAMMY chances. "What really turned me on to the Mumford & Sons–that's why I like the GRAMMYS– is the live performances. When I saw them perform with the Avett Brothers and Bob Dylan, it blew me away. Killed it. I was looking for some banjo on this album after that." A lot more including a stream of the interview.

Chris Christie Looking For a Little More From Springsteen
Last week (December 6), New Jersey Governor Chris Christie stopped by The Daily Show and got right down to the real issues with host Jon Stewart – fan-girling over Bruce Springsteen.

There was plenty of time for serious discussions about politics and Hurricane Sandy relief between the two Jersey boys, but they both agreed that hugs from Springsteen are downright magical. In his appearance, Christie dreamily describes his experience of meeting Springsteen, for whom the Governor has pledged his undying fandom time and time again.

Christie tells Stewart, like a kid on Christmas morning. "He said, 'It's official – we're friends!' But you know what it's like, Jon. I'm looking for a little more now." more on this story

DJ Bragged About Kate Middleton Prank Prior To Nurse's Suicide
(TMZ) The Australian DJ who pretended to be Queen Elizabeth II in a prank phone call ... BRAGGED about her accomplishment on Facebook ... right before the nurse who answered the call committed suicide.

TMZ obtained a screen-shot of Mel Greig's Facebook page taken Friday evening in Australia ... before news broke that Jacintha Saldanha -- the nurse duped by Greig and her co-host -- had been found dead in London.

The post reads ... "Why is it that I can impersonate the queen to get private royal information but no one believes I'm the queen for a free champagne whilst out?"

Greig attached a pic to the post -- of herself and another chick, smiling and hanging out at a bar.

We reached out to Mel's rep for comment ... who said (again), "No one could have ever predicted the tragic sequence of events that followed the prank call."

As TMZ previously reported ...Greig and her co-host Michael Christian shut down their Facebook and Twitter pages immediately after the nurse's death -- and suspended their gig at the station. more on this story

Lindsay Lohan Reportedly Struggling To Pay Her Rent
(TMZ) Lindsay Lohan's financial situation is so dire, she is struggling each month to pay the rent on her Beverly Hills mansion ... TMZ has learned.

According to our sources, Lindsay has been scraping together the money to pay her $8,000 rent. We're told Lindsay signed the lease on the home back in February ... when her career was on the upswing and the money seemed to be rolling in.

But according to our sources, when Lindsay's finances took a turn for the worse (like when the IRS seized her bank accounts) she began doing whatever she could to make rent each month, often hitting up friends for money.

Lindsay tried to get out of the lease and move out early, but we're told the owners of the home told LiLo the penalty for breaking the lease was MASSIVE.

So Lindsay is making it work until the lease is over in February and LiLo is telling friends she'll then look for a place in New York. more on this story
