Warrant Issued For Kid of Kid 'N Play's Arrest

Now, if Kid gets stopped by police for any reason ... they can haul his ass back to jail ... just like last time.

Doesn't seem like Kid is worried though ... 'cause TWO DAYS after the warrant was issued, dude was cracking jokes about the situation ... telling us, "I've got DUIs I'm ducking!"

TMZ spoke to Kid ... who tells us the whole thing was an innocent miscommunication and insists he's sending his lawyer to court this morning to try and fix everything with the judge. more on this story

Samantha Ronson Releases Decade In The Making Debut
(press here) Samantha Ronson has released her long awaited self-produced debut album, Chasing the Reds, on her own label, Broken Toy Records.

Nearly a decade in the making, Chasing the Reds is an account of heartbreak, compiled journal entries, compelling headlines, and every interaction in between.

Despite what people think they know about Samantha, it should come as no surprise that the studio is a second home to her, and a music career inevitable. Samantha fondly recalls visits to the studio with stepfather Mick (Foreigner guitarist and founder), where she would find herself endlessly absorbed with the realm of possibilities the room contained. It was only a matter of time before a lifetime of being surrounded by music propelled her curiosity to try her hand at songwriting. The catalyst was a guitar her stepfather left in her care for safekeeping: "Once I picked it up, that was it. That was pretty much all I did. I started writing my own songs." In 2004, Samantha found herself with both a producer, Duncan Sheik, and a record deal with Damon Dash's Roc-a-fella Records. Inauspicious timing and the dissolution of the label led to her first album Pull My Hair Out never being released, and Ronson found herself back at the drawing board. more on this story

"'Am I The Only One' seems to really have resonated with country fans looking to get out, drink some cold beer on the weekends and have a good timeit's become one of the rowdiest songs in our set," says Bentley. "It's now the moment in the show when girls go up on shoulders and beer cans go up in the air." more on this story

Eric Hutchinson To Release Sophomore Album in April
Warner Bros. Records have set an April 17th release date for Eric Hutchinson's sophomore album Moving Up Living Down.

Hutchinson recorded Moving Up Living Down with Mike Elizondo (Eminem, Regina Spektor) in California and Martin Terefe (Jason Mraz, James Morrison) in London after writing the songs at home in New York City. Road-tested in every setting from a converted garage in Salt Lake City to the 30,000-seat Calgary Saddledome, from San Diego to Dubai, the songs reflect an ever-broadening musical palate, from the exuberant folk-pop bounce of "Watching You Watch Him" to the reggae lilt of opener "Talk is Cheap" and the soul grounding of "The Basement."

"The album's called Moving Up Living Down because it's about the chutes and ladders nature of life," explains Hutchinson. "There's no end game. It's about growing pains and I think I've grown a lot since the first album. This is the next step. I feel lucky, really lucky." more on this story
