The woman behind the suit is Kellie Rodriguez ... who claims she took her kids, her sister-in-law and 3 nieces to a taping in L.A. on December 22, 2011 ... when she noticed she was being checked out by the comedian in charge of entertaining the audience, Ron Pearson. According to the suit, Kellie was later chosen to participate in an audience competition -- in which the contestants would perform a "silly dance" to the Village People's YMCA ... and the winner would get a prize. Kellie claims she began to dance ... when "all of a sudden and without warning, Pearson started spanking [her] buttocks with his hands." In the suit, Kellie continues, "The unwarranted and unconsented spanking was RELENTLESS and did not cease until [Kellie] physically turned around to stop it." The worst part -- Kellie claims she didn't even win the dance contest. But there's more ... Kellie claims after the competition, Pearson asked for a kiss on the cheek ... but when she went in for the peck, he turned his head at the last second and kissed her on the mouth instead. In the suit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Kellie claims it was not only unwarranted and humiliating -- but she claims her children were sad and confused ... later asking their mommy, "Why did that man kiss you?" Kellie wants Pearson to pay ... same with Disney, claiming the Mouse House "condoned, encouraged or ratified" the comic's behavior by employing him in the first place. She's suing for unspecified damages. Calls to Disney and Pearson have not been returned. more on this story
Mark originally made the comments in an interview with Men's Journal, claiming, "If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn't have went down like it did. There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, 'OK, we're going to land somewhere safely, don't worry.'" But Mark admits he crossed the line -- telling us, "To speculate about such a situation is ridiculous to begin with." Mark adds, "I deeply apologize to the families of the victims that my answer came off as insensitive, it was certainly not my intention."
While playing new songs as well as her hits in the show, Clarkson has also decided to include cover songs in the set ones that are chosen by her fans. The "Cash Cash House 90's Remix" brings a retro club sound to the tune, complete with a 90s-sounding dance beat and samples of hits from the era. While Gaga's "Born This Way" is still active on the charts, the pop icon is talking about a new record for 2012. "I just want to keep going," Gaga told The Insider recently. "I'm not as goal obsessed as I am process obsessed. I just want to keep writing music. I'm looking forward to putting out another album and going on tour." more on this story
The video features home footage of the couple with their adopted three year old daughter, Naleigh. The song "Naleigh Moon" appears on Josh's 2011 acclaimed album, Georgia Clay, and was co-written with Georgia Clay producer Clint Lagerberg. "I knew you [Heigl] were going to do a great job and you're an awesome story teller," Josh says to Heigl at their family home. He adds, "Also, I knew you would do it for free." The video was shot in Los Angeles and includes home footage of Naleigh over the past couple of years. When asked about the first reactions to the video, Josh replies, "People loved it. My manager showed it to the record label. The CEO from the record label called me and said, 'We just played the video for the whole label and over half the people were crying.'"
Lights Of Endangered Species takes Good in an unfamiliar direction, displaying arrangements that are a distinct departure from the likes of Born Losers and Last Parade. Stark and passionate best describe Good's latest effort and despite its differences from the Matthew Good familiar to us, the record still sits comfortably with his devoted followers. Purposefully taking the album to a new place was a conscious decision that Good and producer, Warne Livesey, made when creating Lights Of Endangered Species. Recorded near his home in Port Coquitlam, B.C., the record's nine tracks are an exhilarating example of Good's growth as an artist, showcasing unique phrasing and instrumentation that is perhaps new to his fans. This is best displayed on tracks like the piano-driven "Non Populus," running over eight minutes long, anchored by the phrase "done something different." more on this story
Jay released his critically lauded debut album goddamned in 2008, but first gained attention with his role in John Cameron Mitchell's 2006 indie film Shortbus, where he performed his original song, "Soda Shop."

The dates kick off in Memphis, TN on Thursday, February 23 at the 2012 International Folk Alliance Conference (IFAC). Said the band's Joeseph Dunwell, "Last year's Folk Alliance Conference was an overwhelming experience for us, not only because we were playing our music in America for the first time, which was a dream come true, but because of the positive response we received from fellow musicians and performers. Last year's Folk Alliance was so important for us, so we couldn't think of a better place to start our U.S. tour." more on this story

May tells us, he was diagnosed with walking pneumonia before taking a cruise last November -- but the condition quickly got worse ... and before long, he was holed up in the boat's infirmary with a life-threatening lung infection. May tells us, "If I hadn't been a 20-year weed smoker, it wouldn't have been as bad." You'll recall -- May was detained in a Guam airport back in 2010 for weed possession after the comic decided to pet a drug-sniffing dog. Not his brightest moment. May says he used to smoke around 4 ounces of pot a WEEK, but "feels great" ever since he quit -- adding, "I had a great time doing it, but now I can pet every dog in Guam." more on this story

The album, co-produced by John Blonde and Chris Pace in Pace's Bushwick recording studio Smoke and Mirrors, was initially inspired by GAS, the ambient-techno project of Wolfgang Voigt. When the duo met in Spring 2008 they recorded the twenty minutes of sound that would eventually become "Anhedonia" and act as a foundation for the album. "The whole album, the whole band, was built around the pulse of that song and it's how we approach almost all our material now." Most of the tracks on Clean Cuts were recorded in the first or second take and the band continues that improvisatory approach live with the addition of new member Brian McNamara. "The performance is improvised, but there's an enormous amount of preparation leading to that free moment," says John, who lists New Order, Steven Reich's Music for 18 Musicians, Lou Reed, Prince and Miles Davis as influences. more on this story
