A rep for Carly tells TMZ, "This is 200% NOT Carly" in the photos. As for anyone claiming it is -- the rep says Carly's record label is currently handling any potential cease-and-desist cases. The team -- made up of a bodyguard and driver -- worked for Tom for years, before Tom even met Katie ... and when he and Katie hooked up, Tom assigned the duo to Katie full-time. The security team worked directly for Katie for years -- but this week Katie appeared with a new security detail made up of 5-6 bodyguards. Neither the old bodyguard nor the driver was anywhere in sight. Sources connected to the actress tell us, Katie let the old team go after filing for divorce last week -- because of their allegiance to Tom. It's unclear if the duo were Scientologists. The last time Katie was seen with her old security team was last Tuesday. Katie filed for divorce on Thursday. more on this story
During the call, Usher can be heard whispering to the operator ... most likely so the woman outside his home couldn't hear him. Usher tells the operator, "I don't know this woman ... she rang my doorbell." You can even hear Usher's doorbell ring while he's on the phone. Usher added, "She's obviously a fan of some sort." Cops responded to the scene ... and as TMZ first reported, the woman, 26-year-old Darshelle Jones-Rakestraw, told officers she was MARRIED to the pop star. Cops didn't buy the story ... because USHER'S NOT MARRIED ... and placed Darshelle under arrest. During the call, Usher also explains it wasn't the first time Darshelle had been to his home. Just the day before, she was escorted off the property after being spotted by U's personal security team. Listen here.
Here's the back story ... a group of Ron's former "HD" castmates sued CBS -- claiming they're owed royalties from the use of their images in merch like DVD packages -- and the case was green lit to go to trial this month. If the "Happy Days" stars get what they want ... CBS could have to shell out MEGA BUCKS. TMZ spoke to Ron in Beverly Hills Monday ... the Oscar winner tells us he has no stake in the lawsuit, but still weighed in on the matter, saying in a positive way, "I think they'll get what they deserve." more on this story
As TMZ first reported, Garrison posted $50,000 bail on Friday after being locked up since April 22 for allegedly hitting his ex-girlfriend, Ashley Mattingley. Garrison wouldn't comment on the case as he made his way out of the joint, except to say, "Everything explodes and gets bigger than its supposed to be." The former "Prison Break" star -- who served 1.5 years in jail for vehicular manslaughter, did not enjoy his second trip to the hoosegow, saying, "Being back was a quick wakeup call. It puts you back in check." Watch video here.
