A CHP officer dropped by Justin's music video shoot downtown Friday -- and law enforcement sources tell us, the officer was there to take Justin's statement after the singer filed the complaint. We're told Justin originally reached out to police following Friday's high speed chase -- because the photog in question had been extremely aggressive on the road ... much worse than the other photogs. As we reported, the highway chase reached speeds exceeding 100mph -- with some paps even riding the shoulder to keep up with Bieber. Cops eventually stopped the 18-year-old singer, citing him for speeding -- and we're told, that's when the Biebs filed the complaint, giving police the offending pap's license plate number. Funny enough -- the pap in question was at Bieber's music video shoot this afternoon when the CHP officer dropped by ... snapping away. We're told cops took the pap's statement too -- and are now investigating him for harassment. more on this story
Edward Ray Fisher was arrested on May 15 -- while sporting a bloody gash in the center of his forehead -- after his ex says he busted through a door in her home and pushed her through her cabinets. Fisher was facing charges for destruction of private property, disturbing the peace and assault. But now, the Denver City Attorney tells us there is NOT enough evidence to prove he committed a crime -- so the City Attorney is urging the judge to dismiss the case ... which a judge will do as soon as he or she gets the paperwork. Hours after the initial incident, the alleged victim insisted the relationship was dead -- it's unclear if that's still true. more on this story
According to our sources, Kyle Glover (son of Usher's estranged wife Tameka Foster) has not experienced any brain activity since he was admitted to the hospital. We're told there has been no decision yet as to whether or not to take him off life support. Our sources say Usher arrived at the hospital last night and Tameka has not left the hospital since she got there. As TMZ first reported, Kyle was struck in the head by passing jet ski while riding on an inner tube on Lake Lanier in Atlanta, GA. more on this story
Daniel Maher, general manager of Live at Bayou Place, tells TMZ that Peterson has been to the club before, but he has never known him to drink much. Friday night, however, Maher said Peterson was very drunk and was a difficult customer all night. Maher says Peterson was throwing his ego around and making people mad, so they put him in the VIP area. Maher says when the club was closing, he rushed over to the bar to try and order one last drink and when he wouldn't Maher says Peterson "tried to intimidate the bartender" into selling it to him. According to Maher, that's when he intervened, but Peterson continued to be "unreasonable." That's when Maher says the off-duty cop intervened, and, as TMZ first reported, Peterson proceeded to shove him. Maher says during his confrontation with the officer, Peterson assumed a fight stance and looked "like he meant business." Maher says, "He looked really scary and I thought he was gonna attack the cops." Maher says that once the officers subdued Peterson, the NFL star apologized for his behavior and told cops he doesn't usually drink. Peterson was eventually booked into jail and charged with resisting arrest.
According to our sources, Kris didn't express his doubts to Myla ... but we're told he'll take a paternity test for proof positive. As TMZ first reported, Myla is sure Kris is the baby daddy but wants to raise the baby on her own. But that could change, because we know Kris is making sounds he may get back together with her. more on this story
Long story short -- Flav and some of his Las Vegas neighbors set off a TON of fireworks in the middle of the street ... and not surprisingly, the noise (and the giant fireworks in the sky) attracted the local police. When cops arrived ... they sifted their way through the smoke and located Flav, who was still clutching a lighter in his hand. Flav was totally cooperative -- and forked over his I.D. to the police. The laws regarding fireworks in Vegas are a little loose ... but cops didn't feel like Flav's situation warranted an arrest. Instead, cops asked the rapper and his neighbors to stop lighting the fire works and clear out of the street ... and everyone seemed to oblige. We spoke to Flav about the incident, who told us, "We had a good time watching my fireworks show and everything ended safely. Cops came a few times but didn't arrest me � thank God (and the police)!!"
Sources very familiar with the situation tell us ... there are NO immediate plans for either side to go to court. There will be no court hearing Monday, Tuesday or in the foreseeable future, unless the negotiations fall apart. Sources tell us the lawyers are negotiating child custody, visitation, child support and a property settlement. We're also told the whole settlement could be ratified in New York if all goes well. In other words, there may not be a move by Tom's camp to transfer the case to California, where judges are more likely to award joint custody. One source described the emotional state of the negotiations as "calm."
The fans who discovered the "Pink Tickets" at theatrical showings of "Katy Perry: Part Of Me" since the film's opening on July 5th were given the ultimate fan experience to come to Los Angeles to meet Katy. No Doubt will deliver the live debut of "Settle Down" on July 22 at Nickelodeon's Teen Choice Awards, which will be the band's first official performance since their reunion tour back in '09.
Octo signed a recording deal with Global Groove Entertainment and already cut a dance track called "Get on the Dance Floor" that features Octo both singing AND rapping ... no joke. The song is being produced by two guys named DJ Mr. Mig and Mike Rizzo ... both of whom have worked with HUGE artists like Britney Spears, Usher, Beyonce and Taylor Swift. The song will be released August 1st Sources tell us ... the recording gig came about thanks to Octo's sex tape. We're told she felt so liberated after filming the self-pleasure video, she wanted to find another way to express herself. George, Stacy, and some friends dropped by a restaurant in Cernobbio July 4th -- in the same province where Clooney owns a fancy lake house -- but they quickly regretted it. The next day, Stacy tweeted, "Finally had a bad meal in Italy, our whole dinner party got food poisoning #ohwell at least I'm still in Italy." Our sources -- who are in a position to know -- tell us the entire party who dined with George and Stacy that night got food poisoning. But the manager of the restaurant in question told us ... George and Co. must have gotten food poisoning elsewhere ... because it didn't happen at his restaurant. Thankfully, we're told no one ended up in the hospital. We're told everyone is fine.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the L.A. County Coroner filed documents making the change late last month. Members of Wood's family tell TMZ ... detectives from the L.A. County Sheriff's Department -- which has reopened the death investigation -- paid them a visit earlier today informing them of the change. They tell us ... detectives told them the change was made in part because some of the bruises on Wood's body were inconsistent with death by accident. Family members add ... they were told at this point authorities can't prove definitively Wood's death was accidental or the result of foul play. Detectives did tell family members Wood's death was definitely from drowning, but the way she ended up in the water is unclear. In case you missed Thursday night's episode of "Snooki & Jwoww" -- the Snookster unveiled her highly-anticipated ultrasound ... and Snooki's name is listed as "Nicole LaValle." But Snooki sources tell TMZ, the ultrasound is WRONG -- because Snooki's real name is still legally "Nicole Polizzi." The doctor's office simply entered the wrong name by accident. And for all you conspiracy theorists -- the source adds, "Snooki is 100% not married ... yet." Case closed. more on this story
As we first reported, Kelis owes $330,426.71 in unpaid taxes in NY, stemming from the years 2004 and 2010. But according to court docs obtained by TMZ, the "Milkshake" singer also owes $61,737.29 in taxes in Cali for the years 2009 and 2010 ... and $213,932.02 to Uncle Sam for the same years. All told, Kelis allegedly owes $606,096.12 in unpaid taxes. Might be time to whip up a new batch of milkshakes. Calls to Kelis were not returned. more on this story
According to our sources, Graziano walked into her home today only to find it had been ransacked. We're the police were called and they arrived at the home and took fingerprints. Dern filed her formal legal response to Harper's divorce petition Friday in LA County Superior Court. In the docs, filed by Disso Queen Laura Wasser, Dern is asking for primary physical custody of the couple's two kids and joint legal custody. She is also seeking spousal support, child support, and attorneys fees. As TMZ first reported, Harper blindsided Dern with divorce papers back in 2010 after 5 years of marriage and two children. But the divorce was never finalized and earlier this year they tried reconciling. Sources tell us that the reconciliation was "very rocky" and Dern now wants out. FYI � Dern is already the primary caregiver for the couple's two kids. But were told she also plays a significant role in raising Harpers two other children from a prior marriage more on this story
"Between My Thighs" really focuses on the theme of sex vs. intimacy. The song was written from a very honest and truthful place. One of my main inspirations for the song was Janet Jackson's "That's the Way Love Goes," and I wanted to write something that captured the one on one aspect of intimacy. As soon as I heard the music, I immediately had the melody for the song. Lyrics flowed as well, but the hardest part was writing the chorus. I knew what I wanted to say but didn't know how to say it in just a few words, so I reached out to my songwriter friend Joe Louis to help finish the song. As soon as he heard it he suggested I be bold, and I remember him saying "Nirv, you gotta kill em' with this one. Face between my thighs!" I was nervous at first but gave his chorus idea a try. From there I tweaked the melody and penned the second verse reflecting on past experiences for inspiration. Lets just say, the lyrics and melodies flowed.. lol. This song is a statement about being honest and vocal with our partners. We can only learn from each other by teaching each other. Love making is supposed to be selfless. If you're trying to please each other, it will be magical. But you can't take care of each other if you don't know what to do. And in this particular situation, I just needed some "face between my thighs!" Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself right here!
