Scotty selected the Tim McGraw hit "Please Remember Me" as the "goodbye" song that will be played after a contestant is eliminated and video highlights of the contestant's experiences on Idol are shown. The song will debut on American Idol on Thursday. "It's always a sad time whenever this song is played, but it's definitely a really big part of the show," Scotty says. "I never had to experience that feeling personally, but I always felt the pain because we became such a close family on the show. We were such a tight-knit group of people, so it was always sad to see people go. The send-off song was always a way to stay connected to the show. I'm glad they chose me to do it." more on this story

UK-based Madison Universal filed the lawsuit against a talent agency in Santa Monica named Family Productions -- claiming FP promised to broker a deal in which Adam would perform two concerts for $80,000 ... one in Ukraine and one in Russia. Madison claims it paid FP a 10% deposit of $8,000 -- but FP didn't do squat to line-up the concerts ... so Madison tried to get its money back ... to no avail. According to the complaint, Madison grew suspicious -- so it contacted Adam's agent Randy Salcedo at CAA -- who informed Madison that an $80,000 fee wouldn't cover a Lambert concert in Russia ... let alone an additional one in Ukraine. According to the suit, the cost for flying Lambert out to Eastern Europe to perform is more accurately $500,000 ... or more. Madison is suing FP for unspecified damages in excess of $25,000. Amber's due in court Thursday for a weekly check-up with the judge -- and she'll have to answer for the failed test. Adam Faith was just a stage name. He was born Terry Nelhams and grew up in Shepherd's Bush, West London, and worked in various lowly film and TV jobs when he left school. Inspired by the skiffle boom, he stared his on combo, The Worried Men, and booked the band as many gigs as he could find. Playing in Soho one night, Nelhams was seen by music TV legend Jack Good producer of the hit BBC pop music show 6-5 Special. Good helped him come up with a new name and had Faith on TV twice before EMI came calling and offered him a record deal. Two failed singles later, however, it was back to the day job. Musician John Barry (who would go on to become a composer for the James Bond films) asked him to appear on a BBC pop music show, Drumbeat, and on the back of that he released another low-charting single. Finally, Barry brought Nelhams the song that would become his breakthrough and first #1 single "What Do You Want?" Hits continued with tracks like "Poor Me," "Someone Else's Baby" and "Don't That Beat All," quickly establishing him as one of Britain's top three homegrown pop stars alongside Cliff Richard and Billy Fury. more on this story
