Video of a feud between the new Idol judges during auditions for the new season was leaked early this week, with Minaj challenging and swearing at Carey as the two egos clashed on the set. Things boiled over when Minaj was heard saying to Mariah, "if you say one more disrespectful thing to meoff with your head!" Now, Mariah tells Barbara Walters of The View that she has hired extra security to handle Minaj: "Just before we went on the air, I called Mariah," said Walters. "She said that what you heard was troublesome, but that's not what really worried her. She said that that when Nicki walked off the set, multiple people heard Nicki say, 'If I had a gun, I would shoot that b----.'" more on this story
Written by Adele and producer Paul Epworth, the track and was released on October 5 (UK Time) to coincide with Global Bond Day, marking the 50th anniversary of the first Bond film, 1962's "Dr No" starring Sean Connery. "There's a lot of instant spotlight and pressure when it comes to a Bond song," said Adele. "But I fell in love with the script and [producer] Paul [Epworth] had some great ideas for the track and it ended up being a bit of a no brainer to do it in the end. It was also a lot of fun writing to a brief, something I've never done which made it exciting. When we recorded the strings, it was one of the proudest moments of my life. I'll be back combing my hair when I'm 60 telling people I was a Bond girl back in the day I'm sure!" Listen to it here.
TMZ broke the story ... Erlichman filed a police report against ex-bandmates Dylan "FunnyMan" Alvarez and Jorel "J-Dog" Decker earlier this year, claiming they jumped him outside Angels & Kings in Hollywood on May 25th ... punching, kicking, and stomping him. Now, he's filed a lawsuit against them and others -- claiming the "brutal" attack caused permanent damage to him and his friend, who was also allegedly victimized in the beating. Erlichman -- repped by courthouse colossus Donald Karpel -- is suing for unspecified damages. more on this story
Sources at CBS tell TMZ, a note was attached to the white-powdery package that read something like, "This is what will happen to you if Bristol Palin stays on [the show]." The white powder was later determined to be harmless -- but we're told law enforcement is still treating the situation as a credible threat, and is currently investigating the situation. FYI -- this is the SECOND time Bristol has been targeted by a suspicious letter while appearing on "Dancing with the Stars." The first package was sent when Bristol first appeared on the show in 2010. It also contained a threat. Bristol is currently a contestant on "Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars." more on this story
The song is co-written by Clarkson, Jason Halbert and Eric Olson. "It's been a decade now since I won American Idol," says Clarkson. "Sometimes it feels longer because, although it has been exciting, that was a lot of pressure to have as a 19 year old girl. To own a company, lead an organization as a business woman, and be able to create music I'm proud of has been tough but inspiring for me." "To celebrate the strength and longevity that my fans, friends, and family have supported me with I wrote this song 'Catch My Breath' with one of my best friends that has seen me through everything," Clarkson continued. "This song represents who I've been, what I've felt, and where I'm headed as not only an artist, but as a 30 year old that is now smart enough to know that it's time to stop, catch my breath, and be proud of not only what has been accomplished but of all the people that have helped me become the woman I am today." more on this story

The man behind the lawsuit is Wayne Jefferies -- who claims he found the guys from Gold & Silver Pawn back in 2007 and got them a reality TV show deal with A&E and the History Channel ... after Rick had struck out in the past. Jefferies claims things were going great for years -- with the show killing it in the ratings and the guys all cutting various endorsement deals ... including credit cards, slot machines, books and even an energy drink. But according to the suit, things fell apart earlier this year .. when network honchos became upset over a story Jefferies claims he leaked to TMZ. The story detailed how the "Pawn Stars" cast was blindsided when they learned A&E had commissioned a "Cajun Pawn Stars" spinoff. In his suit, Jefferies claims network execs pressured the "Pawn Stars" cast to cut ties with Jefferies ... which they did. Jefferies is now suing the "Pawn Stars" guys for breach of contract ... and he's also suing A&E, the History Channel and various execs for interfering with his management deals. Jefferies is asking for unspecified damages. Calls to the Pawn Stars and the networks have not been returned. more on this story
