It all went down in Sierra Blanca, TX -- where stars like Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg and Armie Hammer have all been arrested for drugs in the past. But apparently, Apple didn't learn from their mistakes ... and when her bus was stopped for inspection, cops turned up the hash -- a strong form of cannabis. Cops say Apple was also in possession of a small amount of weed. The 35-year-old singer was arrested for possession and spent the night in jail -- and was released yesterday on $10,000 bond. more on this story

The group moved up the video's release following on online leak early Thursday morning. An unauthorized, poor quality version of the video appeared online, prompting Syco/Columbia Records to bring forward the premiere of the single by four days. The band did not feel that it was right or appropriate for the fans to hear the track as this illegal upload, so they have responded quickly, and sent out a message to fans Thursday afternoon via a live Twitcam announcing the new plans. "We wanted our fans to see the video and hear the single in the proper way so we've moved the premiere to tonight," said the group. "We're really excited about "Live While We're Young", we've worked really hard on it and we can't wait for everyone to see and hear it later today!" Watch the video here.

Slated for release October 2, 2012, Gold Dust is Amos' second recording for Deutsche Grammophon and a natural progression following 2011's classically influenced Night of Hunters.

Del Rey is the face of the company's new fall advertising campaign; she'll be seen in commercials and print ads wearing the best of H&M's Fall fashion line. "We are excited to have Lana Del Rey, the new star and style icon, as the face of our fall campaign," said H&M Creative Director Donald Schneider. "Lana is totally unique, and we wanted to create a print and film campaign that's just as special. The mood is very L.A. noir and is inspired by our Fall collection, which also fits with Lana's own personal style. The commercial that accompanies the campaign is like a mini-film, with a fantastic plot and Lana performing a cover of 'Blue Velvet.' There's never been a TV commercial that's looked anything like this." Watch the video here.
The event will also feature a Q&A with Writer-Director-Producer Jonathan Holiff and Cash historian Mark Stiepler. We were sent this synopsis: Before there was Johnny and June, there was Johnny and Saul. Here's the deal -- sources tell TMZ, the Porsche Cayenne Lindsay was driving this morning when she allegedly hit a pedestrian belongs to an artist named Domingo Zapata, a close friend of Lindsay's. We're told ... roughly 2 months ago Domingo bought the car from Karent Sierra, the "Real Housewives of Miami" star who is also Domingo's dentist. But the registration hasn't been changed. Under New York law, if the owner of a car gives express or even implied permission for someone to drive and that person gets in an accident that causes property damage or injury, the victims can go after the owner. As for whether Karent gave express or implied permission ... that's ultimately up to a judge, but if she handed Domingo the keys without telling him no one else could drive it. Update: Dr. Sierra's rep has released a statement saying the reality star was "completely unaware of anyone (other than the new owner) driving the vehicle." The statement continues ... "Through filming for Real Housewives of Miami, press engagements, and crazy travel schedules, the paperwork has not been executed 100% for the sale of the Porsche. But [Dr. Sierra] is not responsible for the unfortunate occurrence that took place with Ms. Lohan and the pedestrian. " more on this story
Kato says he was shocked when he read the report which quoted him as saying, "The statute of limitations has now passed ... so I can now say ... yes, he did it." Kato tells TMZ ... he never said any of those things to reporter Cindy Adams or anyone else. Kato says he has expressed his opinion over the years ... that he THINKS Simpson killed Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman ... but tells us, "I have no first hand knowledge." Update: We just spoke to Kato in Beverly Hills, and he insists he NEVER did an interview saying OJ murdered his wife. He says he has no idea where the quotes came from, adding, "I would never say something like this." Watch video here.
Sources connected to Bynes tell us ... all 3 people are telling similar stories -- Bynes was a dream client for years ... but she became extremely difficult in the past 12 months, some say uncontrollable. One source tells us the management team hasn't been able to get in touch with Bynes for the past month -- no phone calls, no visits, nada. According to one source, all 3 members of the team made multiple efforts to help Amanda before she went radio silent -- but Bynes was not receptive. Eventually, the team decided to cut bait ... acknowledging they can't help someone that doesn't want to be helped. As for Amanda, sources close to the 26-year-old tell us ... Bynes feels she no longer needs their services because she's retired from acting and moving into another line of work -- fashion. We tried to reach out to a rep for Bynes -- but, well, she doesn't have one anymore. more on this story
