Jeezy Cleared Of Charges In Wiz Khalifa Concert Shooting
(Radio.com) Jeezy has dodged jail time after being cleared of weapons charges he caught earlier this summer. In August, Jeezy was arrested following a fatal shooting at a Wiz Khalifa concert and was charged with felony possession of an illegal weapon.

TMZ reports that these charges have been dropped, with Jeezy providing a statement to the website confirming the news. The initial arrest came when police searching the bus found an AK-47 and a Glock.

The AK-47 was legally registered to Jeezy's manager, who'd been shot the night before in a separate incident involving Suge Knight and was not on board the bus.

A DNA test exonerated Jeezy, proving that he hadn't touched the weapon. TMZ notes some unusual circumstances about the case--typically, bail in a case like this would be no higher than $20,000, but Jeezy faced $1 million in bail.

Sons of Anarchy Actor Arrested
(Radio.com) Dimitri Diatchenko, who is best known for his appearances as "Head Russian" on Sons of Anarchy, was arrested in Los Angeles on Sunday and charged with felony counts of cruelty to an animal with use of a knife and making criminal threats after it was reported he had killed an eaten his ex-girlfriend's pet rabbit.

Los Angeles County prosecutors said that Diatchenko had been living with his girlfriend for "some time." She recently broke off the relationship and on December 7, the actor waited for her to leave the house to carry out his revenge.

The details of this Fatal Attraction-like crime are not for the faint of heart. Authorities report: "Diatchenko skinned the pet, cooked it and ate half of it while sending her step-by-step pictures of what he did," according to a statement from the District Attorney's office. "When she returned the defendant allegedly told her he would do the same to her."

Marilyn Manson Speaks Out On Lana Del Rey Video Rape
(Radio.com) A few weeks back, a controversial video emerged that was directed by Eli Roth and feature Marilyn Manson in addition to a Lana Del Rey rape scene. Immediately, Manson's camp denied their involvement in the video, which was tough to grasp, as he was in the video.

Now, Manson has broken his silence and explained, from his perspective, what exactly that was all about. "It wasn't a Marilyn Manson video," the singer told NME. "The editor of the company that put it out was somebody who's edited my videos, that video was something that was done with a camera that Eli (Roth, director), who's my friend, and I both wanted to test out, so I let him test it out [] what they filmed was put in context seemingly as if it were a Marilyn Manson video, and that was in no way the intention.

"Eli and I wanted to do a music video with her but she was being such a problem," Manson added. "Although I still respect her, I'm friends with her. I just left, I was tired, I was not willing to make that part of the video. Eli and I originally had intentions of making a video with her, but that is not the intention that is represented in that film clip because that is not what I filmed, not for my video."

Bank Seizes Jermaine Dupri's Mansion
(Radio.com) The mortgage crisis isn't something you hear about as much these days (we have so many other crises), but that doesn't mean bank foreclosures have gone away. The latest to lose their home, albeit a super expensive home, is rap mogul Jermaine Dupri.

The bank has seized the 9,441-square-foot mansion in Atlanta, valued at some 3.7 million dollars. Dupri reportedly owes 2.5 million on the estate, and is unable to make his monthly payments. (via Atlanta Journal-Constitution)

Foreclosure proceedings were started in 2011, but a planned auction in May of that year was canceled. Dupri's Mount Paran home was advertised for foreclosure again in December 2012, but it failed to sell.

South Park Pokes Fun at Taylor Swift, Lorde, Iggy Azalea, More
(Radio.com) The holidays are about bringing families together, but now we spend too much time a part tweeting and Facebooking and Instagramming. "The more connected we get, more alone we are."

This was Kyle Broflovski's wholesome message to the world, and his way of trying to get his good ol' family values hashtag #SavetheLivingRoom trending.

On the latest holiday episode of South Park, they went for broke, poking fun at bloated holiday specials, smug celebrities and especially holograms, including those of Kurt Cobain, Tupac, Elvis Presley and the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson. Who, is actually playing Peter Pan and is the most heavily tweeted.

Iggy Azalea returns to South Park to do a pretty terrible duet of with Elvis Presley. And yes, her booty does look like a snowman. Bill Cosby shows up, sweater and all to help Kyle get a spot on a big celebrity holiday special that is controlled by Cartman and also shows up to sit on a couch with Taylor Swift and sing a "Baby, It's Cold Outside" duet that has it ending with him trying to give her J-E-L-L-O and luckily it doesn't get any further than that.

The "real" Lorde is back, you know Randy Marsh, and Stan's concerned his dad is planning to corrupt little girls everywhere. But, it's not him! It's a hologram. See the whole point of this special is to turn all the celebrities into holograms so they can be controlled.

Coldplay Release New Song 'Miracles' For Angelina Jolie Movie
(Radio.com) Coldplay might be hard at work on their final album, but they made some time to record a song for Angelina Jolie. The band released their new song, "Miracles," which is featured in Jolie's second directorial project Unbroken.

The film focuses on the life of Olympic athlete Louis "Louie" Zamperini, who becomes a World War II hero, survives a plane crash in the Pacific, spends 47 days at sea on a raft and then more than two and a half years living in several Japanese prisoner camps.

With a sweetly strummed guitar, a twinkling piano and a lot of snapping, this song sounds triumphant and as varied as the film itself. It also sounds ready for its Oscar moment.

Frontman Chris Martin sings about angels that talk to him, lightning strikes and floating above the world. It's all pretty magical.

Loretta Lynn and Jack White Reuniting In Concert
(Radio.com) Jack White and Loretta Lynn are getting the old band back together. At least for one night. On Jan. 28, legendary singer, songwriter and Country Music Hall of Fame member Lynn will share the stage again with rock icon White at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, White's adopted hometown.

The two first paired up just over a decade ago when White produced and played on Lynn's 2004 album Van Lear Rose. The seemingly unusual pairing actually worked out in a big way, resulting in an album that was a smart, adventurous blend of White's gritty, guitar-driven rock and Lynn's country storytelling (she wrote or cowrote every song).

The album also landed the pair two GRAMMY awards, one for for Best Country Album and another for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals for their song "Portland, Oregon."

Lynn is technically opening for White at the show, but it's a good bet there will be at least some element of collaboration. After all, Lynn even canceled shows in Texas for the opportunity to join White for the Nashville gig.

Lil Wayne Posts Cryptic Tweet About Label Situation
(Radio.com) Lil Wayne has taken to Twitter to once again speak on his label tensions with Cash Money. There has been some confusion about what exactly his issues with Cash Money are, and how this relates to his own imprint, Young Money.

Is Wayne really seeking a new label for Tha Carter V? Well, after this tweet, the answer is, well, maybe? "YM! That's it. Nothing else" was tweeted by Wayne today (Dec. 11), with YM clearly standing for Young Money (or maybe Wayne is just tweeting about his love of yellow mustard. Like, he just wants mustard on his hoagie. No mayo.).

But really, this tweet seems to call for a greater divide between Cash Money and Young Money, and whether that will actually happen, or could happen, remains to be seen.

Dealer Pleads Guilty in Electric Zoo Overdose Death
(Radio.com) The 2013 edition of New York's EDM festival Electric Zoo was marred by tragedy when two attendees died and four other fell critically ill, all from overdoses on "molly," which in theory is a pure form of the drug MDMA. The third day of the three-day event was eventually canceled after the second overdose death.

On Thursday (Dec. 11), the man charged with distributing the lethal narcotics, Patrick Morgan, has pleaded guilty to one count of conspiring to distribute narcotics.

According to CBS New York, the prosecution and Morgan's lawyer have agreed to a stipulated sentencing guideline range, which means he'll most likely be sentenced to less than a year behind bars, as opposed to the maximum 20 years in prison that's generally attached to such a charge.

New Star Trek Christmas Song Video Going Viral
(Radio.com) Star Trek: The Next Generation hasn't gotten too much love lately, what with the re-boots of the original Kirk/Spock Enterprise pretty much wiping the Picard/Data crew from the current continuity.

The recent release of the show's final season on Blu-Ray seems to be the last word in that series. But the internet has a way of giving you gifts that you didn't know that you wanted.

One of them is sure to become a holiday classic' or, at the very least, easily obliterates Jefferson Starship's "Light the Sky on Fire" - surely you remember that from 1977's infamous Star Wars Holiday Special. Finally: a great sci-fi based Christmastime song.

With no further adieu, check out "Make It So," here.

Eminem Delivers 'Detroit vs. Everybody' Remix
(Radio.com) If Eminem is trying to set a new world record for most features on one song, he's well on his way. The rapper's guest list was already deep for "Detroit Vs. Everybody"--a song from his two-disc Shady XV compilation marking the 15th anniversary of Shady Records--and now he's expanded it even more.

On top of Danny Brown, Big Seal, Royce Da 5'9″, Dej Loaf, and Trick Trick--all native Detroit MCs--Eminem has recruited, brace yourselves, Black Milk, Guilty Simpson, Sino, Marv Won, Payroll, Hydro, Big Gov, Boldy James, Kid Vishis, Big Herk, Icewear Vezzo, Detroit Che, and Calicoe, among others.

With these additions the song title takes on a more literal meaning. If you're wondering what it takes to get 18-plus features on a song, the answer in this case is a 16-minute track.

Chief Keef Recruits Future for 'Who Would've Thought' Duet
(Radio.com) Chief Keef is on the rebound after getting dropped from Interscope Records. While he might no longer have a contract, he at least has a handful of well-connected friends--and one of them, Future, stars on his latest release.

"Who Would've Thought" is more of a duet between Keef and Future than it is a standard guest spot. Future handles the hook but both artists deliver their verses with Auto-Tuned croons.

The lyrics are all about reaching the pinnacle of success and beginning to question everything around you, which is more contemplative than the aggro drill music for which Keef has made himself known.

"Who would've ever thought that I would grind like this?" Future asks on the hook. "Who would've ever thought diamonds cost this much / Who would've ever thought n-as can't be trust / Who would've ever thought the girl wouldn't give it up?"

As for where the track will end up, it won't be Keef's long-delayed upcoming album Nobody--which is finally out Dec. 16--because he posted the tracklist earlier today. But when Future is on one of your throwaway track, then your album must be fire.

Listen to the duet here.

Steve Carell Helps Give 'Sexual Healing' a Barbershop Makeover
(Radio.com) What's better than hearing Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing"? Hearing it done as a barbershop quartet, of course. Wednesday night (Dec. 10) on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the host and his a cappella group the Ragtime Gals performed the sexy hit.

And then, for one night and one night only, Steve Carell joined the Gals for a little added fun--or, more precisely, to steal all their thunder. Carell sneaks in to show of his aca-mazing skills, taking lead and letting us know when he gets that feeling, he wants sexual healing.

It's almost as good as Carell singing Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off." Almost. We do bet this just makes Lorde want to be his friend even more. Check out the performance here.

J. Cole Performs 'Be Free' On Letterman
(Radio.com) To celebrate the release of his new album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, J. Cole hit the stage at the Late Show with David Letterman to perform his song "Be Free."

Cole wrote the track in honor of Michael Brown, the unarmed teen was shot and killed in Ferguson, releasing it days after the shooting. Along with the track, Cole wrote, "Rest in Peace to Michael Brown and to every young black man murdered in America, whether by the hands of white or black. I pray that one day the world will be filled with peace and rid of injustice. Only then will we all Be Free."

For his performance, Cole sounded on the edge of tears, exhausted, singing over a rather somber piano loop, "All we want to do is break the chains off/ All we want to do is be free."

But he makes it clear, "I'm letting you know, there ain't no gun they make that can kill my soul." Ending with a bit of a cappella, Letterman came out to shake his hand repeating, "Oh my God" before saying it was "fantastic" and inviting him back, which as we now know, has to happen before May 20. David Letterman's Final 'Late Show' Date Announced
(Radio.com) David Letterman will sign off as host of the Late Show on May 20, according to CBS and Letterman's production company, Worldwide Pants Incorporated.

"David Letterman has given to all of us a remarkable legacy of achievement and creative brilliance that will never be forgotten," CBS Corporation president and CEO Leslie Moonves said in a press statement. "It's going to be tough to say goodbye, but I know we will all cherish the shows leading up to Dave's final broadcast in May."

In April, Letterman announced that he was retiring after more than 30 years as a late-night host (oddly, the news was broken by former R.E.M. member Mike Mills who attended Letterman's pre-taped show that day and then tweeted about it). Soon after he broke the news, Stephen Colbert was named his Late Show successor. Read more here.

Gossling Talks Fashion, Signature Lipstick
(Radio.com) After Australian singer Gossling settles into our studio in a black-and-white button-up shirt-dress, she explains her sartorial choices for the day very simply.

"I'm from Melbourne, which is the southern city in Australia. We're very well-known for wearing a lot of black. We don't wear much color," she says with a laugh.

It's true, for any fans who follow Gossling on YouTube--many of her excellent performance videos feature her, along with a band, performing in various black dresses. It's a signature look for her, born of the city from which she hails. But for her turn as a brand ambassador for UNIQLO, she had to expand her palette to a few other neutrals.

"They've just got a lot of simple, basic pieces and they're really good to bring into your wardrobe and add with the more stylish, kind of special pieces," she says, explaining what connected her to the brand. "They use really good quality fabrics. They're good staple pieces for your wardrobe."

Before we let her leave, we get Gossling to reveal one beauty item that is very special to her: lipstick. It turns out that her favorite kind is a very personal, very limited edition.

"I actually have my own lipstick because I was trying to think of a fun new idea for merch," she says, laughing again. "I'm a bit of a fan of a pun--my name is Gossling so we came up with Glossling. It's a poppy orange color. It's made by a Melbourne makeup designer and I sell it at shows."

Gossling's debut album, Harvest of Gold, is in stores now. Watch the title track here.

(Radio.com) Nicki Minaj has a seemingly endless amount of different modes--hard-hitting, pop, aspirational, R&B, etc.--which is why it's so challenging to predict which ones she'll put forth on her upcoming album The Pinkprint.

But a new clue from Mike WiLL Made It suggests that there will at least be one universal anthem, especially for the ladies. In an interview with Complex, the producer, who worked on the album, revealed that "People aren't expecting what they're about to hear--they're not expecting me and Nicki to do this kind of record. She sounds incredible. I don't want to spill too much beans and s**t."

Grizzly Bear & Vampire Weekend Stars Remix Ty Dolla Sign Track
(Radio.com) A few weeks ago Ty Dolla $ign released the anthemic 'Stand For," teasing his upcoming debut album Free TC. The song was produced by DJ Dahi and Diplo, the latter of whom has now teamed up with Ed Droste of Grizzly Bear and Rostam Batmanglij of Vampire Weekend for a remix.

The beat's fluttering vocal samples, delicate percussion and pulsing synths are left untouched, but Ty's vocals have been stripped. In their place, indie heartthrobs Batmanglij and Droste harmonize about love lost and found. Their remix changes the song's tone from Ty Dolla's urgent, upbeat R&B to melancholy indie pop.

'Ooh, you've got a long way home," they croon on the chorus. Diplo took to his Soundcloud to write, "its about time that indie rock acts started to co-opt rap beats!" He quickly took the message down.
