Man Found Dead in Dumpster After Jason Aldean Concert

He was found by a landfill worker Tuesday (July 22) in nearby New Russia Township, CBS News reports. Barron was identified by his ID and still had his ticket stub on him. Meanwhile, local police are continuing to investigate the situation.

Barron was last seen around 9:30pm after leaving his seat to meet up with friends in another section of the venue. It is thought he could have fallen down a trash chute before landing in a Dumpster. more on this story

Duran Duran Suing Their Own Fan Club

Duran Duran had used the service since signing an agreement in 2010, but are now claiming that the fan club did not keep adequate financial records or make payments to the band.

The contract between the two parties reportedly specified that Worldwide would helm the band's merch, maintain fan club records, collect membership fees and keep accurate accounting records relating to the agreement.

In all, Duran Duran was supposed to receive 75 percent of all profits, while Worldwide would garner the remaining 25 percent. more on this story

Lauryn Hill Removes Fan From Concert For Heckling

The video does not capture what the fan said, so there is no context as to what comments Hill may be responding to from the man, but as she took the stage 50 minutes later than expected, he may have been responding to her tardiness.

While it may have caused some unrest, from the video it is clear that Hill did not feel the heckling suited the crime. "Excuse me, excuse me, there's a gentlemen over there who just did something I don't like. Can you please escort him out and refund him his money?" Hill asked security from the stage.

"I don't play that. I don't need to win you over and you don't need to win me over," she continued. "�I do this because I love it, not because I owe you anything. You understand that? I do this because I love it. You can get on your blogs and you can tweet and say whatever you want to. I don't give a rat's a-."

T.I. Denies Ghostwritering For Iggy Azalea

Now T.I. is attempting to put the rumors to rest, at least on his end. "I mean, I ain't no ghostwriter," the rapper and label head said claimed in a video interview for Bijou Star.

"Iggy got her own ideas and thoughts that she presents to the world her own way. I couldn't write a lot of the s-t she say, you know? I couldn't put her thoughts into words as articulate as she does. You know what I'm saying? She just has a different way of presenting herself and her art." more on this story

Weird Al Scores His First No. 1 Album

Adele Awarded Five-Figure In Son's Photos Case

According to the BBC, Adele Adkins and her partner, Simon Konecki, brought a case against photo agency Corbis Images UK Limited over pictures of their son, Angelo Adkins' "milestone moments." The photo agency took the photos in June and November 2013 without the couple's permission and then sold them to the English press.

In court, Adele's solicitor-the singer was not present-told the High Court in London that her son "was not and must never be public property." Her solicitor also said Adele was saddened that her son's "milestone moments, such as his first family outing and his first trip to playgroup, were photographed and published worldwide expressly against his family's wishes."

"These images were taken during private, recreational time unconnected with professional or public engagements," the solicitor said in court. "They represent a clear infringement of our client's right to privacy."

The solicitor also stated that it was Adele and Konecki's view that "these images were of routine, everyday family occasions which the paparazzi has no right to intrude upon, profit from and file away in picture libraries for future reference and use." more on this story

Whitney Houston's Mother Slams Lifetime Biopic

After attempts to stop production, Houston's mother Cissy Houston is calling out Lifetime in a statement about the upcoming made-for-TV-movie. "Lifetime has chosen to go ahead with the movie about Whitney in spite of my family's objections," she said, according to Billboard.

"No one connected with this movie knew Whitney or anything about her relationship with Bobby. In the two years since Whitney's death, many people have stepped forward to speak about their close relationship with her. I find it difficult to believe people who knew and supposedly loved her would participate in a movie about her done by folks who didn't know her.

"We are exhausted by the continuing misinformation and comments offered by people who did not know her. Please, please let her rest." more on this story

Randy Travis Releasing New Album Next Month

Dropping Aug. 19, Influence Vol. 2: The Man I Am is a new 13-song collection of Travis recordings. The set focuses on classic country songs that have made an impact on him over the years. It arrives less than a year after the similarly themed Influence Vol. 1: The Man I Am, which was released last fall.

"We had such a great time putting together Influence Vol. 1, but there were still so many musical heroes of yesteryear that I learned from and wanted to honor," Travis said in a press statement. "We had no choice but to release a second volume. The 'Influence' that the older, great ones had on me, and the 'Influence' that I may, somehow, have on the ones that come along after me, is God's way of allowing us to pay it forward. It is my prayer answered - and, His will done - it is what makes me, 'the man I am.'"

Among the tracks on Influence: Vol. 2 are the Hank Snow classic "I'm Moving On," Merle Haggard's "That's the Way Love Goes" and "Are the Good Times Really Over?" (the latter of which appears to have also held influence over Miranda Lambert on her recent single) and Kris Kristofferson's "Sunday Morning Coming Down" and "For the Good Times" (a song popularized by the late Ray Price).

Influence Vol. 2 also includes a solo version of "Tonight I'm Playing Possum," a song Travis released last year as a duet with Joe Nichols in tribute to George Jones.

Miley Cyrus Guest Stars In Pharell's 'Come Get It Bae' Video

And so, for "Come Get It Bae," we get a message from the women's movement: the personal is political. Whether you buy into the Dove commercials, finding unseen beauty in women, or not, that is the same concept Pharrell and director Luis Cervero (Justice, Battles) are tapping into for this video's concept.

It's a powerful message the endorse the attractiveness and sexuality of women of varied ages, colors and sizes. "The personal is political" tapes into a key component of the '60s women's liberation movement, where women began talking out loud to each other about their feelings of repression and it helped them realize they weren't isolated problems but part of a movement. Today a huge part of "the personal is political" is women talking to other women about the male gaze, aging and beauty standards.

It's a laudable conversation to kickstart with the platform of a Pharrell video, but the message is a little off when the people starting that conversation are two men. Thus, the Miley Cyrus featured spot is an absolute must for this video. Inserting not only an excellent singer but also a young woman who has taken it on herself to challenge the public very vocally and repeatedly about why beauty standards exist for pop stars, pointing out the absurdity of them with her own absurd sartorial take, takes "Come Get it Bae" to another level.

Nicki Minaj Teases Ariana Grande and Jessie J Collaboration

Minaj posted a quick snippet of the song, "Bang Bang," on her Instagram page on Wednesday (July 23) ahead of the tune's official July 29 release date.

The brief clip focuses on Minaj's verse, with the "Pills & Potions" singer rapping that she's "Queen Nicki dominant / prominent" over hand claps and a jazzy horn loop.

Luke Bryan Offering Two Military Branch Members Free Tickets

Bryan recently announced that he'll be teaming up with a commercial sponsor to offer an all-expense paid trip to Chicago to attend Bryan's That's My Kind of Night tour date at Soldier Field on Aug. 31.

Busta Rhymes Leaves Cash Money Without Releasing An Album

Well, there is more behind that fact than meets the eye, and today Busta Rhymes has announced his parting ways from the label. MTV News reports that Busta talked to Sway at SiriusXM explaining that "nothing happened in a negative way. I was there for two years and the opportunity was a great opportunity at the time because of the type of deal that was done.

"For me, with this particular project and all of the sacrifice that went into it - recording the album for five years, I [lost] Chris Lighty making this album, I [lost] my father making this album - the s-t that I was putting into this album, I'm not compromising my vision for it."

Busta is not ruling out further work with the label, he just has his sights focused on this epic-sounding passion project.

Jack White Reportedly Had Wretched Time At Cubs Game

In theory, it should be fun. White can have a hot dog, sit back and take in America's favorite pastime, try to be as wholesome as apple pie. But, as these photos show from Tuesday night's (July 22) game, White did not seem to have a good time watching the Cubs take on the San Diego Padres at Wrigley Field. He looks more like his buddy, Neil Young watching the San Jose Sharks.

What makes this photo even better is the "Party of the Century" ad running underneath White's glare. Don't you want to head to Wrigley Field and have as good a time as Jack White? No?

Perhaps, White was just upset he wasn't watching his hometown team, the Detroit Tigers, or maybe he looks so serious because he's trying to figure out how to bring a Major League Baseball team to his adopted home of Nashville, Tennessee.

Beyonce Channels 'Rosie the Riveter' on Instagram

The original Rosie the Riveter image appeared on the Memorial Day issue of The Saturday Evening Post, and was quite a bit brawnier than the character's next iteration on the iconic "We Can Do It" posters.

Norman Rockwell, the artist who created the images, was likely inspired by the early 1943 song "Rosie the Riveter" by Redd Evans and John Jacob Loeb (hear it here). The lyrics include the lines "All the day long/ Whether rain or shine/ She's a part of the assembly line/ She's making history/ Working for victory/ Rosie the Riveter/ Keeps a sharp lookout for sabotage/ Sitting up there on the fuselage/ That little girl will do more than a male will do."

That seems like precursor, of sorts, to Beyonc� lyrics like "Who run the world? Girls!" The singer hasn't made any comments as to the significance of the photo. See it here.

Glee and Disney Stars Want Their Band R5 Taken Seriously

The band has one response to anyone who would question their cred: "Don't judge us until you see us live," says Riker. "Music came before everything: we were a band way before [Ross] was ever on a TV show, or I was ever on a TV show, music was always the first thing. Once people see the live show, it's like, 'OK, cool.' I wouldn't say we have to prove it that much, but I can see why it would come up every once in a while."

The band - which also features brother Rocky on guitar, sister Rydel on keyboards and Ellington Ratliff on drums - have a strong pop-punk sound, which is understandable, given their early influences. "Fall Out Boy was the biggest influence for me and Rocky, right off the bat," Riker says. "Rocky showed me a video and I said, 'That's the coolest thing I've ever seen.'"

"Actually it was a 'Beat It' cover by Fall Out Boy," Rocky recalls. "I was actually the first in our family to pick up the guitar in our family. I remember saying, 'Dude, this is dope! We gotta do this!'"

In 2007 the Lynch clan moved to L.A., and soon after they started the band with their sister and friend Ratliff (he goes by his last name, which is where they get R5). By 2009 they'd released their debut EP and by 2012, they'd signed to Hollywood Records.
In a hip-hop and EDM saturated marketplace, though, is there room for a traditional band like R5? They're pretty optimistic: "I actually think there's a lot of diversity starting to grow in top 40 radio. Like Lorde - she's very electronic, it's really different. Then there's Pharrell, he has a very organic production to his songs. Then there's Paramore, they're a rock band with guitars high up in the mix."

They have reason to be optimistic, even if they haven't blown up in the states yet, they're huge overseas, particularly in Japan, a point that they parody in their video for "(I Can't) Forget About You." more on this story

As a band, "Cold World" has a completely separate meaning for us as well. We all come from such different backgrounds that it legitimately took us 5 years to finally find the 'direction' of our sound.

We've pretty much drawn a line in the sand musically between what we released prior to "Cold World" and what's to come. In away this track is a rebirth for the band that has us super excited to keep hitting the studio and churning out new music!

Jonathan Jackson from TV's Nashville Performs At NAMM

Jackson plays struggling musician Avery Barkley on ABC TV's Nashville, and Avery's rise, fall and return from the ashes is one of the series' most compelling storylines. Jackson is a five-time Emmy Award winning actor who won those statues and heaps of accolades for his role as Lucky Spencer on the long running daytime soap opera General Hospital. He's also made People's list of the "50 Most Beautiful People." But what he proved at the NAMM show were his abilities as an accomplished singer, songwriter and guitarist.

On Nashville - where Gibson guitars play plenty of cameo roles - Avery often appears onscreen with a variety of Gibsons, including Les Pauls, ES-335s and a Jeff Tweedy SG. At the NAMM acoustic stage, the spotlight was squarely on Jonathan's angelic tenor voice and his Gibson L-00 guitar, accompanied by his brother Richard Lee Jackson's caj�n percussion.

Although both are professional actors with numerous TV and film credits, they also share a serious rock band, Jonathan Jackson and Enation, which includes bassist Daniel Sweatt and will release a fourth full-length album, the sonically sweeping Radio Cinematic, on October 14.

A sneak preview of the album is available on Jackson's web site via "Everything Is Possible," a new single that features stacked crescendos of Jackson's vocals and his chiming guitar chords and riffs, and benefits from the hit-making co-production of Greg Archilla (Matchbox 20, Collective Soul) and Patrick Dillett (David Byrne, the National). The album was recorded in Enation's current hometown, at Nashville's the Tracking Room and Blue Grotto Sound studios.

Charli XCX Discusses Her Style

"This is kind of just a comfort thing," she says, laughing. "And a new found love for my breasts. I really want to embrace my breasts. I think every woman should because boobs are awesome."

That sort of frank thinking and talk encapsulates Charli's approach to fashion (and perhaps interviews). She says that although she is aware she's wearing a sheer Dolce & Gabbana slip dress, the point of it is not to tease or attract the male gaze. Her selection is entirely of her own design.

SNL's Jay Pharoah Parodies Usher's 'Good Kisser'

Re-titled "Bad Kisser," you can guess how the flossing comes into play. In the video, Pharoah deals with a woman who needs a little help in the dental hygiene department.

It starts out real enough - waking up next to a girl and dealing with morning after-breath - and then gets progressively more absurd to the point where Pharoah uses floss in a dark way.

Riffing off Usher's lyrics, he sings: "At 5 in the morning she ain't brush so her breath it smell like s-t / She looked into my eye / I think she wanna take me for a ride / She opened up, it smelled like something died / It made me wanna commit suicide."
