Calvin Harris Slams Taylor Swift On Twitter

(Radio.com) Calvin Harris took to social media on Wednesday (July 13) to vent about his ex girlfriend Taylor Swift. Harris tweeted a story from People, which reported Swift wrote the lyrics for Harris' current single with Rihanna "This Is What You Came For," under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg.

"And she sings on a little bit of it too," he added. "Amazing lyric writer and she smashed it as usual." "I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though," he elaborated. "And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym."

Then things take a bit of a dark turn. "Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though," he writes. "I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do."

Harris' then appears to bring up Swift's alleged rivalry. "I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it."

And finally. "Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you've earned a great one. God bless everyone have a beautiful day." See all of Calvin's tweets here.

Sia Releases 'Unstoppable' Olympics Remix Featuring Pusha T

(Radio.com) Sia and Pusha T teamed up for a remix of "Unstoppable," which is being used in a video to promote the 2016 Olympics. The made-for-Rio remix is by producer Ariel Rechtshaid and features a verse from Pusha T and percussion from Afro-Brazilian marching band Olodum.

The project is part of Gillette's 'Perfect Isn't Pretty" Summer Olympics campaign. Rechtshaid said he picked chords to fit the visuals of the ad, and adjusted them to match the key of the Sia song.

'I've been a fan of [Olodum] ever since I was listening to my parents' Paul Simon records," the producer told Billboard. 'Sia, who's a friend of mine, and then Pusha T came in towards the end because the song felt like it could use his edge and a verse on it."

'People get to see the end results a lot and they think it was a beautiful ride," said Pusha T in a behind the scenes clip. "They don't even think about the steps it took to get to that final place." Check out the remix here.

YG Releases Trippy 'Still Brazy' Music Video

(Radio.com) It's been nearly a month since YG released Still Brazy, the follow-up to his 2014 album The Krazy Life, and on Wednesday (July 13) he shared the very first music video for his title track.

In the video's opening moments, the Compton rapper grabs a spray paint can and tags a blank wall with "This S- Brazy." From there, the video, which has a strong black, white and red color theme, gets all sorts of trippy. YG's shadow turns red, and he morphs, multiplies and changes color.

It's fitting that he raps about "paranoia" on the track, because there's a sense of that running throughout the video. What starts off as a clean-cut feel thanks to a primarily white room shifts to an angry red backdrop. At the same time, YG and his posse lose their coordinated costumes and show off their tattooed chests. Watch the video here.

Garth Brooks Previews His New Social Media Video Series

(Radio.com) Garth Brooks, the biggest selling solo artist in history, has always been known for giving his fans personal attention. And now he's continuing the ritual on social media.

Although the country superstar joined Facebook, Twitter and Instagram less than two years ago, he's making up for lost time. In a live webcast Monday (July 11), he announced that his upcoming social media video series, Inside Studio G: A Monday Night Conversation, will give fans an in-depth look at the making of his next album.

"We're actually going to let the cameras roll for the first time ever on the recording process," Brooks explained of the weekly series during a Facebook Live chat. "I'm hoping the song that you will see us recording makes the record, because then you'll see it take its first breath, and it's pretty sweet to see when something like that comes to life," reported Rolling Stone.

Garth still loves the element of surprise, though, so he warned fans not to expect him to give all the secrets away. "The greatest lab for new music in the '90s was the tour," he said. "I'd call up [producer] Allen Reynolds and [manager] Bob Doyle and say, 'There's this song that the crowds are just eating up, it's crazy.' But you can't do that today. You can't try anything out. So you have to do it in little pieces, little secret labs. It's the people who determine whether something is a hit or not, and it's really nice if you know that before you record it. So with [Inside Studio G] it'll just be pieces, parts." Read more here.
