Calvin Harris' Camp Denies Taylor Swift Instagram Comments

(Radio.com) It was made to appear that Calvin Harris apparently chose a very public way to discuss his relationship with Taylor Swift. The DJ went on Instagram last Thursday night (June 22) and began responding to fans about his relationship with the pop star.

But, like Tom Hiddleston's Belgium radio "interview" about his budding relationship with the pop star, we cry foul. And a source close to Harris does too. Out of the blue, Harris began responding to different comments and questions his followers left on his Instagram account. One Instagram user grabbed screenshots of all the responses Harris gave because he later deleted everything he wrote.

At one point a follower asked why he was bothering to respond in the first place and Harris wrote back, "because I'm interested in how their minds work at this point," referring to Swift's rabid and loyal fans. Elsewhere, Harris said he felt amazing and free. He also stated about their breakup and the way it was handled, "[Swift] controlled the media and this situation, I had no idea what was going on."

A source close to Harris told Entertainment Weekly that he wasn't the person behind the Instagram comments. He did, however, Snapchat a video saying he felt "sexy and free."

Take a look at some of his possibly fake responses here.

Lamb Of God's Randy Blythe On Being Political

(TeamRock Radio) Lamb Of God's Randy Blythe says he shouldn't be expected to take responsibility for society as a musician in the public eye. Though he says artists are in a way "the voice of society" - the vocalist feels he shouldn't have to speak out on social and political issues.

When asked what responsibilities he has as a musician, he tells Full Metal Jackie: "That's a question I ask myself often. You know, 'what is my responsibility, if any?'

"Sometimes I think as an artist - in arts in general - you're a reflection of society and the state of it. We are the voice of society in a way. You can go down the route of taking yourself way too seriously that way. Sometimes I think as an artist, it's important to at least be an articulate commentator on the events of today." Metallica Supportive Of Robert Trujillo's Side Projects

(Classic Rock) Robert Trujillo says his bandmates couldn't be more supportive of his various projects outside of Metallica. As well as his work with the thrash giants, Trujillo has been working hard on his Jaco Pastorius movie and also performs and records with his funk collective Mass Mental.

And frontman James Hetfield and guitarist Kirk Hammett have both encouraged Trujillo's Jaco documentary. Trujillo tells Metallica's So What blog: "I remember James sent me an iPhone photo that a friend of his took who happened to be at the Sweetwater Cafe event we had done for Jaco in Mill Valley.

"And he said it was really cool, which made me feel good. Why? Because he said his friend was there, and he said it was awesome. Rather than saying, you know, 'What the f*** are you doing?'

"So that made me feel good, and the fact that Kirk actually came out and jammed with me that night. You know, it was really, really fun, and he helped me celebrate something that's important to me, so that was really, really cool and encouraging." Read more here.

The Head and the Heart On Their Unexpected Role in 'Roadies'

(Radio.com) The Head and the Heart not only contributed their new single "All We Ever Knew" to Cameron Crowe's new dramedy, Roadies, they actually ended up playing a role in the Showtime series.

The show about behind-the-scenes concert personnel officially premieres Sunday night at 10:00 pm with the band set to appear in episodes 1 and 2. The band describes their experience on the set, watching in awe as Luke Wilson improvises and the Academy Award-winning Crowe directs.

"Our role is--we're the opening band for this made up fake band that's the headlining act of the show," explains pianist Kenny Hensley. "And we've apparently become more popular after agreeing to do the tour so we don't really want to be there. We want to be headlining our own gigs so we're just frustrated and annoyed and our tour manager is pissed off."

Crowe has the band playing pranks on the headlining act in order to get themselves kicked off the tour. They leave the tour though before getting kicked off, fictionally joining Neil Young's European dates. "The guys who's the tour manger for our band in the show is actually Neil Young's real tour manager," says Jonathan Russell. "So there's all kind of really cool connections and parallels."
