Before we begin, I'd like to take a moment out in remembrance of those lost in the September 11th attacks. Buildings can be rebuilt but lives are lost forever. We should never forget them or others who lost their lives in the name of our freedom.

Linkin Park DVD and Meteora "Regurgitation" Coming
MTV reports: Always ones to keep something on their release schedule for fans to look forward to, Linkin Park are planning a live album and DVD for November.

"We taped a couple of Summer Sanitarium shows, knowing very well that a lot of the people who wanted to see that tour weren't going to see it," rapper Mike Shinoda said of the outing, during which Linkin Park opened for Metallica and Limp Bizkit. "I think it's really beautiful. It's done on 35 mm [film] for the most part. Usually our stuff is done on DV for that home video kind of feel, but we really wanted artistically to make it a little more mature. It's a cool-looking thing."

Linkin Park have yet to title the product or finalize a track list, but fans can expect to see the band at its heaviest.

.Though Linkin Park decided to do a live release rather than a remix collection like they did last time they were between studio LPs, they'll put out some Meteora remixes via various channels in the coming months. Click Here for the Full Story

Did this conversation really take place?

LP Manager: Hey Mike, we need to make some more money. Do you have any new songs?

Mike: No. Why don't we just regurgitate the songs on "Meteora" like we did with "Hybrid Theory"? The kids bought it up last time!

LP Manager: Great idea! More money, no new songs! We can again cash in on the same songs twice, Brilliant! And we can put out a live DVD too!

Mike: Excellent.

Corgan Gets Poetic
Chart Attack reports: Near the end of the Smashing Pumpkins' rocked-out nursery rhyme "Today" the cherubic-faced frontman Billy Corgan, sings, "I want to turn you on."

With numerous passages like this one stored away in the Corgan files the ex-leader of the Pumpkins (and now of Zwan) will no doubt try to do exactly that as he's taking a batch of his lyrical gems to golden stage of a poetry reading.

To kick start Chicago's 31st annual Reading Series, Corgan will polish up on his knowledge of stanzas, verses and other poetic devices by giving a multi-media performance of some his favourite lines to take place on September 17. - Click Here for the Full Story

Sharon Left Ozzy Hangin'
Here is another chapter in the public soap opera that is the Osbournes.  We miss our old evil "Prince of Darkness".

AP reports: Sharon Osbourne said she briefly left her husband, Ozzy, around the time their teenage son, Jack, entered rehab this spring.
The Osbourne matriarch said that while the family was waiting for a bed to become available for Jack at a treatment center, her rock-star husband continued abusing alcohol and prescription drugs himself.

"I just said, 'You just have to stop,' and he didn't. And I said, 'Well then, I'm going.' And I packed my bags, and I left," Sharon Osbourne told Barbara Walters in an interview for ABC's "20/20."

The separation lasted just a few days, she said.

"The minute I left, the next morning, he gave up drinking. But I needed to make sure that he was on a roll. That he really meant it," the 50-year-old Osbourne said. "And, after four days, I came back to see him. And he was trying so hard. So hard. Still is clean and sober." - Click Here Full Story

Insert smartass comment here about if you had to live in that family you'd need alcohol and drugs too.

    Dishwalla Party Hard In LA!
From Harper PR: On Saturday, September 6th, Dishwalla celebrated its tenth year anniversary and the release of their first live CD, Greetings From The Flow State, with a slamming performance at the legendary Key Club. The sold out venue was packed and rocking as JR. Richards (lead singer), Pete Maloney (drummer), Jim Woods (keyboard), Rodney Browning Cravens (guitar) and Scott Alexander (bass) delivered a solid straight three-hour show from their full-blown guitar cranking set, to their more intimate acoustic moments.

The band performed an electrifying line-up of songs from their previous three albums and invited Marko 72 from the band Sugarcult as well as Tonic's bass player, Dan Lavery, to come jam with them a surprise gift for Dishwalla's fans who kept their energy on all night. But the biggest surprise was given to the band, courtesy of their manager, when during their classic "Suspicious Minds" cover, an Elvis impersonator jumped up on stage and surprised the boys singing the song in lieu of JR.

They forgot to mention that the band also premiered their new video for the single "Home" which features footage from their Navy Goodwill tour as well as some funny excerpts from their new DVD.   Your gonna love the airport intercom scene.
