50
Cent Airport Brawl |
Launch reports: Rapper 50 Cent was involved
in a scuffle at the Murtala Muhammad Airport in Lagos, Nigeria, on Saturday
night (December 4). Allhiphop.com reports that 50 Cent got into a scuffle
with members of the entourage of Nigerian rapper Eedris Abdulkareem.
According to witnesses, the scuffle began
onboard an Aviation Development Company flight which was scheduled to bring
the performers to Port Harcourt for the Star Mega Jam's final performance.
Abdulkareem allegedly attempted to sit in a seat reserved for 50 Cent.
When he was stopped from taking the seat, his entourage protested, and
a brawl ensued inside the airplane. The scuffle carried on to the tarmac
of the domestic wing of the Murtala Muhammad Airport. [see full story for

Wonder
Blast Eminem |
E! Online reports: Speaking to Billboard magazine,
[Stevie] Wonder comes to the defense of old Motown roster mate Michael
Jackson
"Kicking someone when he's down is not
a good thing," Wonder tells Billboard. "I have much respect for his work...[b]ut
I was disappointed that he would let himself go to such a level.
"He has succeeded on the backs of people
predominantly in that lower pay bracket, people of color. So for him to
come out like that is bull----." [see full story for more]-

Hendrix |
Blabbermouth reports: Robin Stummer and Anthony
Barnes of The Belfast Telegraph are reporting that Jimi Hendrix's estate
is planning on releasing dozens of unheard recordings that will delight
Hendrix fans and go some way to repair damage done to his reputation by
years of poor-quality bootlegs.
The new material — there is enough for
regular releases over the next 10 years — is understood to include several
hours of film of the guitarist in concert shot by fans and entourage, plus
studio out-takes and unreleased sessions recorded between 1967 and 1970.

Guns
Vs Sixx |
Blabbermouth reports: Former L.A. GUNS guitarist
Tracii Guns, who co-founded BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION with MÖTLEY CRÜE
bassist Nikki Sixx, has apparently been banned from posting on the CRÜE
message boards after stating in a web posting last week that the new MÖTLEY
CRÜE single was "shit."
Writing to Metal Sludge's "Gossip Board"
last Friday, Guns said, "OK, I am the biggest MÖTLEY fan in the world
and this new song sucks donkey's ass, elephant's ass and my mom's ass.
Vince's [Neil] voice has never been better and they made him sing this
shit. I am embarrassed. Yes, Nikki's my best friend, but I ain't goin'
along with this one 'cause I would look like a donkey's donkey.
In a follow-up message, posted earlier
today, Guns said, "Nikki had me banned ,,,,, HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA... It's
an honor to be banned by Nikki Sixx.
"How do i get hooked up with these egomaniacs????

Cliff
Burton Tapes |
Blabbermouth reports: RollingStone.com is
reporting that a longtime friend of late METALLICA bassist Cliff Burton
has a batch of his unreleased demo tapes, which he hopes to donate to a
burgeoning musician. Burton was killed in 1986 when the band's bus crashed
in Sweden on the "Master of Puppets" tour.
"There are METALLICA mega-hits that will
never be," says Dave DiDonato, a drummer in his own right, of the tapes.
"All these killer riffs . . . he was working on them until he died."
Burton's parents gave DiDonato the
tapes after their son's death, and DiDonato wants to get them in the hands
of someone who can continue in Burton's spirit. "I would love to find a
young bass musician following in [Cliff's] footsteps," he says, "someone
who would utilize this material to improve his craft and appreciate the
music, and devote himself to doing what Cliff was doing." [see full story

Ticket
Fraud |
NME reports: A judge has attacked the auction
website EBAY while sentencing a woman for using it to sell fake tickets
to the GLASTONBURY festival.
Sara Hambridge, from Leicester, duped innocent
customers out of more than £3,000 for fewer than 20 fake tickets
for the festival.
Judge Richard Bray told the 28-year-old
that she had taken advantage of a system which made life easy for fraudsters.
PA reports that Hambridge made £3,021
from five customers, and was told she only escaped jail due to ill-health
following an operation earlier this year.
Sentencing her to a nine-month suspended
sentence, Judge Bray said: "These trusting people, they get on the Internet
and they ask for a ticket and they send a cheque without any knowledge
of who they are sending it to. [see full story for more]-

Blast Whiners |
Ananova reports: Bono has slammed "whingeing
rock stars" who complain about their fame and fans.
The U2 frontman says he has no time for
pampered musicians who moan about their life.
Instead, the singer insists they should
be grateful to their fans who have paid for their lavish lifestyles reports
Femalefirst.co.uk quoting The Sun.
He said: "I do hate whingeing rock stars.
The life that people have given us is amazing. We don't have the same worries
other people do, like how to pay the bills. In return we only have to do
one thing. The deal is, don't be crap - that's all anyone's asked of us."

Skinny
Puppy Boycott |
Donewaiting.com reports: Patriotic Americans
Boycotting Anti-American Hollywood has sent letters threatening a boycott
against radio stations playing the new Skinny Puppy album. Here's the text:
In the past few months a band by the name
of Skinny Puppy has slandered Bush. At several of their concerts over the
Summer they have simulated an assassination of the president. On their
current Fall tour they simulated a beheading similar to the ones happening
in Iraq. When the vocalist pulls off their hoods he reveals the terrorists
to be Bush and Cheney. This is unacceptable and I encourage you not to
play their latest record, The Greater Wrong of the Right, that has been
indicated by their record label as being played on your station. [see full
