Beyond Silly News: Sex Makes j.lo Vomit
News.com.au reports: [It's the middle of week, so a little silliness might be in order. We start off today's report with this jewel] JENNIFER Lopez had a unique way of getting out of sex with ex-husband Ojani Noa, reports The New York Post - she would run to the bathroom and pretend to throw up.

Noa exposes J-Lo's bedroom secrets on Young, Sexy & Spoiled, a one-hour TV special airing on July 18.

Sex-starved Noa reveals that he knew the honeymoon was over when J-Lo would claim she had to vomit whenever he wanted to sleep with her. [that's all the time we are going to give this silliness, but if you really gotta have more click the full story link] - Click Here for the Full Story

Iced Bach
BW&BK reports: It has been reported that former ICED EARTH guitarist Ralph Santolla, who announced his departure from the band a few days ago, has hooked up with ex-SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach. Santolla has issued the following statement with regards to the move:

"There are several reasons for this decision, and for the moment I will keep them to myself. The other guys [in Iced Earth] know my reasons, and hopefully this won't turn into a public pissing match. On the other hand, if it does, at least execution by musketry has gone out of style. I made some great friends, played some great, albeit difficult (!) metal tunes, and learned a lot from the experience. Whatever anyone else says about Jon [Schaffer], he IS a phenomenal rhythm guitarist.

"On a different note, I am the new lead guitarist for Sebastian Bach."... [see full story for more, plus his other plans] - Click Here for the Full Story

Alice In Chains Members Jam
Blabbermouth reports: Although ALICE IN CHAINS officially ceased to exist following the death of singer Layne Staley in April of 2002, guitarist Jerry Cantrell has recently jammed separately with drummer Sean Kinney and bassist Mike Inez. Cantrell also told Launch that the idea of the band reforming with a new vocalist is not outside the realm of possibility. "Maybe some day, at some point, you know, if it worked out, and if it was something that everybody was into doing, and we found the guy that could cut it, as far as being his own personality and also honoring the memory of what the music is before without trying to be Layne Junior... who knows?" Jerry said. "Stranger things have happened." [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Metallica Killer To Be Executed
Blabbermouth reports: A San Antonio man who chanted the chorus to METALLICA's "No Remorse" "Another day, another death, another sorrow, another breath" after fatally shooting a man in the head in Corpus Christi and robbing him of $13 twenty years ago is set to die Wednesday night (July 7), according to the Associated Press. An appeal was before the U.S. Supreme Court to keep Troy Kunkle, now 38, from becoming the 11th Texas prisoner executed this year.

Leslie Poynter Dixon, a former assistant district attorney in Nueces County who prosecuted the case, last week recalled a hearing about whether the METALLICA song could be used as evidence.

"As this album [METALLICA's 'Kill 'Em All'] was being played for the judge so he could make his decision on whether it would be admitted, Mr. Kunkle was playing an air guitar," said Dixon... [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

May Ok With Hung Cover
Launch reports: Some people might question William Hung's singing talents, but his dedication is something to be admired. That's the word from Queen guitarist Brian May, who's been asked about the American Idol reject's new cover of Queen's "We Are The Champions."

On his official brianmay.com website, May explains that does not have a problem with Hung's recording of the song. "People send us covers every day. The only time we ever say no is if it's something abusive to women, or racially abusive, or something like that...but if people are honestly interpreting the song, then how could you possibly tell them you didn't want them to do that? As they say, it's the greatest compliment, so thank you, Mr. Hung." [see full story for more] - Click Here for the Full Story

MegaPress Release
Press Release reports: One of the most groundbreaking, electrifying, and provocative bodies of work in the history of heavy rock is about to be re-unleashed upon the public in all its blazing glory. Seven albums by pioneering metal band MEGADETH, along with a new, never-before-heard version of a Megadeth-related side project, arrive on July 27th. Founder, singer, guitarist, and primary songwriter Dave Mustaine spent months remixing, remastering, restoring--and in some cases reconstructing--the band's catalog to bring it as close to his original vision as possible. With each album packed with unreleased tracks, demos and alternate mixes, along with painfully honest liner notes from the iconoclastic Mustaine, these are the definitive editions of Megadeth's musical legacy.

With a new album due in the fall (Sanctuary Records) and the catalog back on July 27th in its ultimate form, Megadeth, in 2004, has come gloriously back to life. [check out the full story to visit the official site to get more]- Click Here for the Full Story
