Boston Herald reports: Springfield authorities
sorting through the aftermath of a violent tirade by rapper 50 Cent plan
to slap the Kevlar vest-wearing rapper with criminal charges and say a
man shot after the melee had been at the ill-fated concert.
Ray Feyre, director of operations for Hampden
District Attorney William Bennett, confirmed the 27-year-old Big Apple
emcee, born Curtis Jackson, will be prosecuted for his role in the scuffle
at the Hippodrome in Springfield. But, Feyre said, ``it hasn't been decided

Henry Rollins Radio
BW&BK reports: The following update
comes directly from HENRY ROLLINS himself:
"Here’s something that just happened. I
was asked by the good folks at 103.1 FM here in Los Angeles CA if I would
like to host a couple of hours. I said I was interested but in order to
do it, I would have to be able to bring my own music and talk about anything
I wanted to. They told me that’s what they had in mind and so I said yes.
This is the only station you can turn on and hear THE BUZZCOCKS twice in
an hour. This is my kind of station. Steve Jones of THE SEX PISTOLS is
one of the hosts. It’s pretty damn cool.
They told me I could have Mondays 7-9pm
starting on June 7th and I thought that was fine but told them I didn’t
want to wait so they said how about trying it out this coming Monday, the
17th of May. I told them I would be there early. [see full story for lots

Drowning Pool Barred From
Canada
siN's metal news reports: DROWNING POOL
are the 3rd band, following HATEBREED and BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION, to be
denied entrance into Canada. Stevie Benton posted the following on the
bands official forum:
"Why won't you let us in? It seems the
people at the border don't like the looks of us. Perhaps they feel we would
corrupt the Canadian youths. We were very much looking forward to doing
just that. We promise to keep trying to get in. Maybe later this summer.
We're very sorry to anyone we disappointed. Much love to all of you up
there." - Click

So when Canadian fans ask "why no Canada dates", this might be part
of the reason. Although, the same holds true for the U.S., bands do get
denied entrance but we've never heard of three in one week.

Morrison Grave Trouble
ArrowFM reports: Seems as if late Doors
singer Jim Morrison is still causing trouble; albeit from beyond the grave.
Apparently the manager of the Paris cemetery holding the singer is sick
of the droves of pot-smoking, cigarette discarding mourners treating the
grounds like they were a blacklit living room. At this point, manager of
Paris' Pere Lachaise Cemetery Christian Charlet just wants Morisson's resting
place moved to somewhere a little more... restive. [see full story for

Locomotive Releases
press release reports: This June, Locomotive
Music are proud to release the debut album Purification by Anibus Gate
and the double live CD Fly By Night by Sex Museum.
Hailing from Denmark and formed in 2001,
Anubis Gate is a conglomeration of classic 80's metal, epic 90's ambiance
and dark progressive rock. The resulting sound is mid-tempo power metal,
with beautiful soundscapes, cool riffing and powerfully crisp vocals.
Lyrically, Purification, is a loosely based
concept album about fighting inner demons, and cleansing on a psychological
level. This goes very well together with the band name, as Anubis was the
jackal-God in the ancient Egyptian mythology that lead the misguided dead
souls through the Underworld and into the kingdom of Osiris.
Anibus Gate¹s Purification is out
June 29, 2004 on Locomotive Music.
Sex Museum began in 1986, and after nine
albums and 12 singles, it is their energetic live performances and intense
stage presence that they are known for. Locomotive have captured this experience
with the double live CD Fly By Night, out June 8, 2004.
In the 90¹s Sex Museum toured around
Europe with everyone from DEEP PURPLE to SONIC YOUTH and in 1996 they were
headliners with Killer Barbies at Esparrago Chico in Spain. In 2002 and
2003 the band toured Germany, Austria and Switzerland, recording their
sets for what would eventually become Fly By Night.
Sex Museum¹s double live CD Fly By
Night is out June 8, 2004 on Locomotive Music.- Click
