Minnelli
Sex Slave |
AP reports: [It's not rock related but this
one was too strange to pass up on a slow news day] Liza Minnelli's bodyguard
claims the Oscar-winning actress made him have sex with her in order to
keep his job, according to recently unsealed court documents.
The allegations are detailed in M'Hammed
Soumayah's $100 million lawsuit against the entertainer. Minnelli's lawyers
did not return calls for comment Wednesday. But in a court document, one
of her lawyers said Soumayah had "commenced this action in a quick sand
of untruths and misstatements" and accused him of a "shakedown" of her
client.
In the lawsuit, Soumayah, 56, accused Minnelli
of assault and battery, breach of contract, withholding payment for services
rendered and sexual harassment. [see full story for more]-

Gwar
Vs Anselmo |
Day in Rock reports: GWAR's Oderus Urungus
(a.k.a. Dave Brockie) gave DenverAccess.com an earful when the interviewer
mentioned Superjoint Rituals Phil Anselmo. Warning the following contains
language not suitable for children or Tipper Gore.
"I can't wait to run into that dude - I'm
going to put my fist down his fucking ugly throat," Brockie said of Anselmo.
"He is just a loser, worm, junkie, scumbag, asshole motherfucker. I can't
believe he wants to criticize GWAR, the greatest band in rock and roll
band in history; he can lick my diuretic code-swipe.
"I'll tell you a funny story about Phil,"
Brockie continued. "We were in New Orleans, and that faggot piece of shit
came on our bus and was like, 'Hey, man, you guys got any of that crazy
shit?' We were like, 'What the fuck do you mean?' And he started slapping
his arm and was like, 'You know that crazy shit.' I guess he thought we
were a bunch of junkies.
"Fuck you, Phil Anselmo. Will you please
print that in your article? And your stupid fucking stupid SUPERJOINT RITUAL
dumbass band, you fucking suck, die!! We fucked your girlfriend way before
you."

Tommy
Lee Clears Hall |
Blabbermouth reports: Craig Wagner of the
Daily Nebraskan is reporting that a free thank-you concert in Lincoln,
Nebraska, courtesy of Tommy Lee's TV entourage, turned out to be less about
music and more about TV.
Crowds waited impatiently outside the Rococo
Theatre for more than an hour, comparing Tommy stories of retakes and staged
antics.
"Right now I'm asking myself why I'm standing
in line this long to see Tommy Lee," said freshman art major Eric Chloupek.
"Make this unbelievable for TV," Lee said
when he took the stage. "Trust me when I say this, the whole world is watching."
[long story short, the 600 people crowd quickly grew frustrated with multiple
retakes and left, click the full story link for more]-

Tramp's
White Lion |
antiMUSIC reports: Only a week after the end
of Mike Tramp’s European tour, Tramp is announcing that this is the end
of Tramp playing both White Lion and Freak of Nature songs in his solo
live set. But, at the same time, Tramp is announcing that he is forming
"Tramp’s White Lion", a band dedicated 100% to the original sound of White
Lion.
Says Mike Tramp, “Now is the time for me
to make the separation for real and make it all clear to everyone what
it is I am doing. My solo career was always going to be a departure from
both White Lion and Freak of Nature, and I felt I did that well with my
first album ‘Capricorn’, but I feel that because I have been playing a
mix of songs in my live set, I have also taken steps backwards in my solo
career, when what I wanted to do was take many steps further away from
what I was known as.
"With 'Tramp’s White Lion', I now can perform
that classic sound with no compromise, and at the same time take my solo
career to the musical place that I want to go.” [see full story for more]-
