I don't write a lot of metal songs. I can write them but I'm not as good as the other guys. If I write something I want it to be completely different. A18 Return
press release reports: Six years is well beyond the average life expectancy of most hardcore bands, especially when you tally two full length CDs, three EPs, shows in over twenty different countries, literally hundreds of interviews and a live set that often leaves the stage decorated with blood and broken instruments. Welcome A18. With a resume reading like a who's who of Southern California hardcore, A18 formed from the ashes of the region's most popular hardcore bands, A Chorus of Disapproval, Instead, Outspoken and Strife. After a brief hiatus A18 are happy to announce the return of longtime vocalist Isaac Golub.

Co-produced by Paul Miner (Throwdown, Terror, Atreyu) Dear Furious is a mix of passion, anger, energy and unbridled rage that assaults the senses. After recording Foreverafternothing with Paul in 2002, A18 chose to bring his great studio knowledge and experience producing some of the greatest hardcore bands to bear on the new project. During the year prior, the band had issued themselves a challenge to surpass all previous recordings. Their tour schedule provided the live performance time needed, that combined with two months of pre-production, their hard work paid off. "We've had the time to really hone our songs into the quintessential A18 anthems, instead of sacrificing quality for a lack of time or recording budget," Mike commented. A18 entered the studio after the last leg of their most recent tour of Europe with The Hope Conspiracy and Darkest Hour.
