Ozzy
Vs His Sister |
Blabbermouth reports: Ozzy Osbourne's elder
sister has told a British newspaper that he deserved to be robbed as payback
for the similar crimes he committed in his youth.
Gillian Hemming, 59, says Ozzy's teenage
past came back to haunt him when his Buckinghamshire mansion was hit by
a $3.6 million (£2 million) raid last week (Nov. 22).
When he was 17-years-old, Ozzy — real name
John Michael Osbourne — served a two-month prison sentence for breaking
into a clothes shop in Birmingham, England and stealing women's stockings.
Hemming says,"The stockings he took were
only worth a few quid and his burglary cost him £2 million.
"He's paid for it now, hasn't he? It's
like bad karma." [see full story for more]- Click

Health Medical Center, her husband said.
Markle had undergone surgery recently,
and there is concern she might be left partially paralyzed, her husband

of the last song," husband Tige Markle told the Denver Post Saturday. "We
didn't even realize what was happening till the band walked off the stage."

Pink
Floyd Royalties Claim by Wall Kids |
antiMusic reports: "We all need some compensation,"
says a group of former London state school kids that sang the famous chorus
"We don't need no education" in Pink Floyd's "Another Brick In The Wall."
The 23 kids from the Islington Green School
were taken to a recording studio to lay down the chorus by their music
teacher, Alun Renshaw, who told the Evening Standard that he accepted the
offer from the band's management because it was "an interesting sociological
thing and also a wonderful opportunity for the kids to work in a live recording
studio.
... royalties expert Peter Rowan told Reuters
that he has filed a claim with the Music Royalties Society on behalf of
one of the singers and is working with some of the other former students
in the action. However, he has yet to track down a majority of the students
involved.
At the time of recording the school was
paid £1,000 for the student's work. Later after the album and song
had become a hit, the school was given a platinum record. [see full story
