(liveDaily) Green Day a band that began its climb 15 years ago at a tiny, all-ages, punk-rock club in Berkeley, CA--will be headlining some stadium gigs this summer.
The trio--which continues to ride the success of its Grammy-winning 2004 album, "American Idiot"--has signed on to play newly announced shows Sept. 1 at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ; Sept. 24 at SBC Park in San Francisco; and Oct. 8 at Home Depot Center in Carson, CA, near Los Angeles.[see

So what if Green Day has aquired millions of fans with just one album. For those of us who have stuck by them through it all, we should not be bothered which is why it p*sses me off so much when I hear long term fans moaning. I'm just glad everyone agrees that Green Day are a great band. England loves you! lol!
