Armor For Sleep Attack
Punkbands reports: Please read this message from Armor For Sleep: Last week outside of Club Tundra in Syracuse, NY our good friend, tech and videographer, Joey B was jumped by some thugs. He was punched in the face several times while the assailant demanded his wallet and sidekick.

After hitting Joey B and taking what he could the guy jumped into a car that was full of other people. The police were called but no one had been able to get the plate #’s on the car. Joey had to sit in the emergency room for hours after the incident, and he had to see an oral surgeon to repair his broken jaw. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Weezer ???
Weezer/Special Ops reports: [The following was an actual "press release" sent over from a promo company working the new CD]02/14/92 - Weezer - Rivers Cuomo, Matt Sharp, Pat Wilson and Jason Cropper - is born after 3 days of steamy rehearsals in a tiny room in West Los Angeles. Jason gets nude, thinking he's in sauna. Luckily the other guys in the band can play music with their eyes closed.

05/12/92 - The Garage of "In The Garage" fame is claimed as the band's. The garage comes with a house, which quickly comes to resemble Delta House in Animal House, minus the girls, togas and actual space to live in. The landlord is told the band is actually UCLA students studying classical music. Though the landlord lives next door, the band somehow manages to avoid eviction despite full volume rehearsals past midnight with the space soundproofed with trashed rolls of old carpet. Meanwhile, drummer Pat begins suffering from Struggling Artist Syndrome while living in an unheated garage. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Tsar Soph
press release reports: TSAR, the band that has kept the hedonistic ideals of Sunset Strip rock n’ roll alive since 2000, will drop their blistering new disc BAND-GIRLS-MONEY on June 7.

Coming off a critically-acclaimed debut album, the band’s new disc was caught in a holding pattern by their previous, corporate behemoth-sponsored label which apparently didn’t hear Radio-Friendly-Unit-Shifters in such power pop gems as “Wanna Get Dead”, “The Love Explosion” and “Wrong”. In late 2004 indie juggernaut TVT Records stepped in and took over the situation with a new deal for TSAR.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
