The New York City-based trio are currently touring Europe with their latest release, This Island, but before heading off on tour they shot a brand-new anti-fur public service announcement (PSA) for peta2. Visitors to peta2.com can view the PSA, watch an exclusive video of the shoot, and read an interview with Johanna.

"Tremendous Brunettes" features a duet with Dave Matthews and backing vocals by Dan Wilson, who sings on many tracks. ... [The CD will be out on May 3rd]- Click Here for the Full Story

Valley Arena Release
Earshot reports: The Valley Arena's Take Comfort In Strangers is in stores today on Astro-Magentics.

Fusing dissonant indie rock with pop smarts, The Valley Arena’s exhilarating noise at once brings to mind the stark, angular stylings of bands such as Fugazi and early Q and Not Q and the smart, slightly off-kilter pop side of art-punks such as The Fall, Talking Heads and Wire.

The Valley Arena plan to tour throughout the remainder of the spring and summer. A special, free CD release party will take place May 7th at Cafe Bistro in Long Beach, CA. Watch for them on the Vans Warped Tour from June 30th-July 2nd. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
