Van Halen Vs Orioles

BW&BK reports: According to The Associated Press, a lawyer for VAN HALEN says a breach-of-contract lawsuit against the Baltimore Orioles will go forward. A federal judge last week denied the Orioles' motion for summary judgment. Howard King, who represents Van Halen, says a trial is "imminent." The band contends in the suit filed in August 2004 that the Orioles wanted it perform the first-ever concert inside Camden Yards and then backed out of the deal. Jessi Jeans

andPOP reports: Jessica Simpson knows everyone can't fit into a pair of Daisy Dukes.

The skinny pop singer has developed a line of plus-sized woman's jeans to accommodate all her fans.

MTV reports: Henry Rollins has finalized plans for his 25 Years of Bullsh-- Tour, sponsored by IFC, which airs "Henry's Film Corner." The two-month, 43-show trek kicks off September 29 in Phoenix, and will include commentary on politics, pop culture and his most recent exploits, before wrapping November 26 in Las Vegas. MTV reports: On October 6, Norah Jones will headline a New York gala to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the T.J. Lohan Vs Father

Contact Music reports: Teen queen LINDSAY LOHAN is reportedly set to blast her estranged father MICHAEL LOHAN in song on her sophomore album.

The RUMORS hitmaker, 19, is currently supporting her mother DINA and younger siblings as her parents battle through their divorce settlement in Nassau County, New York. Love's Dirty Test

AP reports: [follow up to yesterday's story] Courtney Love has been ordered to appear in court later this month to face an allegation that she violated her probation in an assault case by being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Superior Court Judge Rand S. Rubin issued a bench warrant for Love's arrest, but agreed to hold it pending the Aug. 19 hearing. During that hearing, a date will be set for another hearing to decide whether Love, 41, violated probation.

Stefani discussed her newest style with The New York Post, saying, "I originally wanted to call this album and this collection 'Stolen Goods' - I wanted to steal back some of that style in a 'this was yours, now it's mine' way," she said. Reuters reports: Rock veteran Alice Cooper has his highest-charting album on the Billboard 200 in 11 years.
