PETE DOHERTY has been arrested in London on suspicion of possessing crack
cocaine.
The former LIBERTINES singer, 26, and his
musician friend PETER WOLF were stopped by police after driving "erratically"

only two days after Doherty returned from Arizona, US, where he had quit

FMQB reports: In the latest chapter of the
ongoing story of Sony BMG's flawed copy-protection software, New York Attorney
General Eliot Spitzer is calling for retailers to immediately pull the
albums off their shelves. Spitzer also chided stores for not yanking the
CDs before the Christmas shopping season began.
According to Business Wire, Spitzer's office
sent investigators out to buy the specific CDs in question after Sony BMG's
recall had been enacted. The investigators were easily able to purchase

AP reports: DMX was slapped with a seven-day
sentence by a Bronx judge who said the rapper is "a violation waiting to
happen."
DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, pleaded
guilty Tuesday to driving with a suspended license in the Bronx last April
after his sport utility vehicle struck a car that in turn hit a police

Meehan has died aged 62 after sustaining head injuries from a fall.
Meehan was a founding member of the group
and played on hits such as Apache between 1958 and 1961.

the BBC: "It is so tragic. Tony was a hugely influential drummer and a

posterity: Both children, Prince Michael Jr and Paris are said to be conceived
from anonymous sperm obtained at an unnamed sperm bank.
She says: "Michael knows the truth - that
he is not the natural father of Prince Michael Jr and Paris. He has to
come clean. I have no information whatsoever about the identity of the
semen donor for either child as such (semen) was obtained anonymously from

that the surviving members of The MC5 did not violate trademark laws as
alleged by the band's singer's widow.
Judge John J. Feikens of the Eastern Michigan
court district dismissed a suit against the band filed in the name of its

Becky Derminer, alleged that the band, which reformed last year after a
