Free The West Memphis 3
antiMusic reports: Over the next few weeks we will be highlighting new and past articles dealing with the West Memphis Three, a case where 3 young men were convicted of murder based primarily on the way they dress and the music they listen to, not evidence. Travis Becker, who suggested this special, will check in with an editorial about the case, Dolly will have a special Pop 9 about it, as well as other special features both past and present. We kick off with this article written by former antiMusic writer Goth Brooks in 2000 which gives details about the case and highlights why we feel this still warrants special attention. Click the full story link to read Goth's article. (writers/editors from other sites, you are welcome to reprint any of our original articles in this special. If you decide to run special articles of your own, please let us know so we can tell our readers about them. What happened to the WM3 could have happened to any one of us. Moby Vs Eminem
Gigwise reports: Moby has launched an attack against The Prodigy and Eminem for their misogynistic lyrics.

"And now we find out that a British man who is obsessed with Eminem killed a woman with a metal baseball bat and stuffed her body into a suitcase. Am I being 'too uptight' for not seeing the humour in this?

"Should I 'relax' and see the comedy in a misogynist beating a woman to death? Before this British man brutally killed this woman he was singing Eminem songs in a karaoke bar. Maybe there's no connection. Maybe there is. It's disgusting that we even have to ask that question."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
