(Day in rock) U2 lead the touring pack in 2005. The Irish rockers brought in $260 million during their sell-out tour according the Billboard. The Eagles were a distant 2nd only managing $117 million showing for the year and Neil Diamond trailed with $71 million to round out the Top 3.

Press releases and hype aside, Motley Crue is strangely absent from top 10 having been beat out by Kenny Chesney, Paul McCartney, Rod Stewart, Elton John, Dave Matthews Band, Jimmy Buffett and Green Day.[see full story for more] - Click here for the Full Story
