(Press Release) Having just been presented with Billboard magazine's prestigious Century Award last week at the Billboard Music Awards, Tom Petty has agreed to return for a second season of his XM Satellite Radio show, "Tom Petty's Buried Treasure," it was announced today by Petty and XM Satellite Radio. XM, the nation's largest satellite radio service with more than 5 million subscribers, will kick off the new season Monday, December 19 at 10AM ET on its deep album rock channel Deep Tracks (XM Channel 40). As with season one, the hour-long, critically-acclaimed weekly radio show will blend landmark songs, offbeat cuts and live-in-concert classics recorded by legendary artists with Petty providing informed and passionate commentary on what is his first love, the music.
