The former back-up dancer is convinced of his lyrical genius and hopes track POPOZAO will storm straight to the top of the charts, following its New Year's Eve release (31DEC05).

Two Ways To Be Satanic
Rockdirt reports: During a Halloween show in New Jersey, Underoath took the stage dressed like Slipknot and opened the show with 'Duality'. "Our manager called their management, and they sent us some masks and said all they wanted was some pictures," guitarist and songwriter Timothy McTague recalled in an interview with MTV News. "We all had jumpsuits with their numbers spray-painted on them. It was funny as crap. Both of our singers love Slipknot. There's a lot of respect there, for sure." Asked why, considering Slipknot's work includes tales of serial killers, followers of black magic and other evildoer, McTague said, "I feel like there are two ways to be satanic. You have bands like Atreyu, who are dark and twisted and have pentagrams and say they believe in vampires and all this evil stuff. But at the end of the day, those guys are just doing theater. Record Concert Revenues.. At A Cost
AP reports: Powerhouse tours by the Rolling Stones, U2 and Paul McCartney helped drive concert ticket revenues in North America to a record $3.1 billion in 2005, even as the number of tickets sold declined for the third year in row. 

Fans purchased 36.1 million tickets to the top 100 concert tours, compared with 37.6 million in 2004 and 38.7 million in 2003, according to Pollstar, the industry trade magazine. Mammoth reports: Pedro the Lion has kinda broken up. [From Bob]Dave will be making music, touring, and releasing records under his own name. He'll still be writing and singing the songs. Just not under the name Pedro The Lion. Reuters reports: Canadian music labels Wednesday called for tougher laws against illegal Internet music downloading in an appeal to politicians at midpoint of a federal election campaign.

AP reports: A police commander who led a commando-style, anti-crime team that human rights groups accuse of multiple killings is hitting the airwaves with a rap-style song that pledges to restore law and order in Jamaica.
