(liveDaily) Southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd have mapped out a lengthy summer tour itinerary, but an illness has temporarily waylaid the group's roadtrip.

The band has postponed planned stops in New Jersey and New Hampshire on June 14 and 15, respectively, while singer Johnny Van Zant recovers from "a severe case of strep throat" that he "has been battling for the past month," according to a press release.
