(andPOP) Grammy winner John Mayer has teamed up with drummer Steve Jordan (Bruce Springstreen, Rolling Stones) and bassist Pino Palladino (the Who, Jeff Beck) to form the John Mayer Trio.The trio already performed together at this years Grammy Awards, but fans who want to see them in action again will get a chance as the group will embark on a North American tour this Fall. They will perform with such greats as The Rolling Stones, Ray LaMontagne and Joss Stone, with more acts to be announced.[see
