Linkin Park Vs Label
MSNBC reports: Linkin Park demanded its release from Warner Music Group on Monday, claiming that the conglomerate, which is about to go public, is not devoting enough of its resources to promote the band. 

“We feel a responsibility to get great music to our fans. Unfortunately, we believe that we can’t accomplish that effectively with the current Warner Music,” the rock-rap band said in a statement. 

However, the group, which has sold more than 16 million albums in the United States, still owes label Warner Bros. four more albums. Warner Bros. Records dismissed the group’s contentions as a ploy. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Contact Music reports: Rapper 50 CENT was such a good street hustler as a kid he used to sell drugs to his own family - without them knowing. 

The IN DA CLUB hitmaker became a well-known cocaine dealer in his native Queens, New York after taking to the streets to support himself after his mother died when he was eight - and he knew he was good when he could sell his wares to his family member. Zap2it.com reports: Jennifer Lopez, star of the upcoming comedy "Monster-in-Law," has been vilified as a "Monster-in-Fur." 

Members of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals brandished signs protesting the diva's love of fur at the Friday (April 29) premiere of her latest comedy. According to news sources, the demonstration not only targeted Lopez's tendency to wear fur, but also her Sweetface fashion collection that features fur. Blabbermouth reports: MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee's upcoming reality TV series, "Tommy Lee Goes to College", is scheduled to premiere on NBC on August 9.
